Anyone tried Fast sync over HDMI? I'm getting tearing when playing games with Fast Sync on @ Nvidia control panel and in-game vsync setting off. Don't have a displayport monitor so can't check if works with that either.

Yes, it will work over hdmi. Fast sync only works if your fps is above your monitor's refresh rate.

OK I tested again, Fast sync on with frame late limiter set to 63fps @ Nvidia profile inspector seems to work pretty good. Eliminates only around 98% of tearing though, so I think normal vsync is still preferred for single player/slower games.

You don't have FreeSync or G-Sync?

Ah a TV. I'll take that as a no XD. That's why I can't game on TV's but I bet it looks damn good.

Yeah I highly recommend this for gaming, especially if you don't want a TV separately. I think the better image quality of OLED is much more important than G-sync. The TV can do also 1080p120Hz for some high fps action.

Fast Sync works better the higher the FPS is, don't think you want the limiter. You should get no tearing at FPS > Refresh rate with Fast Sync on. When FPS < Refresh rate, Fast Sync is the same as no sync. The reason for Fast Sync is to reduce input latency while giving tear free experience when FPS is higher than refresh. If you are playing something that has variable FPS above and below refresh rate, Adaptive V-sync is probably your best option if you don't care about the input lag.

Thanks, this sounds like the best option!

Try putting a G-Sync monitor on your lap as you lay back in a recliner, or squint to try and see a 30-ish inch one at 6 feet away. TVs have their place with many PC gamers, and it's just disappointing that we'll never see G-Sync enabled TVs (yet free sync TVs might be a real thing soon).

I get 60-120FPS with fast-sync/47in. LG/HDMI cable.
