Far Cry 6 will be available to play for free between August 4th and August 7th
Ubisoft has announced that Far Cry 6 will be available to play for free on all platforms between August 4th and August 7th, during which time the game will also be available with a 60% discount across various storefronts. During this free weekend, gamers will also be able to access the game's main campaign and the game's  fight with Danny Trejo, go Rambo style, and Stranger Things event content. In Far Cry 6, gamers play as Dani Rojas; a Yaran who becomes a guerrilla fighter in order to liberate his nation from Anton Castillo, the country's dictator. Like other recent Far Cry games, player can use a variety of weapons, animal companions and vehicles to fight against the Yaran military regime.
 
Far Cry 6's free weekend is available to gamers on all platforms, and Ubisoft has confirmed that PlayStation players will not need PlayStation Plus to access the game, though Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One users will need an Xbox Live Gold subscription to participate in Far Cry 6's free weekend.

    It's a good way to try the game and see if it's something you would really enjoy without having the risk of not liking it. That is as long as you have a fast enough internet connection to not spend too much time downloading a game to try before you buy.

    Pretty sure, most people can finish it entirely in only a few days ... 
    It's the only FarCry I don't own , because there has just been too much stuff to already play through.

    That's great news for anyone who hasn't played it yet. I bought it when it first came out, played finished the game twice.
    Playing Far Cry: New Dawn (yet again)...
    Wonder if they'll ever do another new game or another addon..

    The Far Cry games in the past have been pretty easy to beat in a single day. Far Cry 5 can be beat by just not putting handcuffs on the bad guy for like five minutes. You just leave the cults and the credits happen. Far Cry 4 can be beat by not trying to escape the room at the beginning. After like ten minutes they come and release you then the credits come up.
