Did I miss something somewhere or does this X58 Classified not have a GUI I can control the fans with?
One thing I loved about my 780i was that I could go in and crank fans up when over clocking/benchmarking/game.  When I went back to normal daily use I could turn them down without having to mess with them in BIOS.
Did I not install some software I was supposed to in order to have a GUI control over functions on this mobo?  I almost went with the Asus Rampage II because it has tons of features, including the GUI options. I chose the Classified because of the 3-WAY SLI+PhysX option, but this whole fan thing has me baffled.  Anyone?

If your talking about the fans on your GPU's use percision to control your fans while you OC your GPU's, I've never reserched the CPU fan, as my V8 has a reostat on the back of the PC to adjust the fan, and my NH-U12P-se, has never shown any indication, of needing more air flow, I'm not saying there isn't a way to adjust it, just that I have never needed it. see page 66 in classified manual or 56 in 758 manual for SmartFan functions.

You are correct - I was looking for a Windows tool that allows me to control the fans on the Motherboard like you could with the nVidia chipset on the 780i.  I have no need for fan control on the GPU's as they are water cooled, but thanks for that suggestion, I use Precision for overclocking them though.

Yes my Mod Rigs need to be updated - lol, been too busy. Just did the Core i7 Upgrade thsi weekend, still trying to find my way around the X58 Classified and figuring out how I can best use it.

I also use the same controller.  I have a second on order from Newegg as well, but that handles 8 fans of the 13 I have in the case/radiators.  I am 5 fan controllers short, so I was hp[ing to use the mobo to handle the others.

You can use Speedfan to control the fans from windows.  I use speedfan 4.4v and it works for 3 of my fans, but not the other 2, think that's a problem with the regular x58 board though and not speedfan.

    Here's a safe link to download speedfan 4.4:  http://speedfan.software.informer.com/4.4/
