I've seen Gigabyte 3080's pop in and out of stock on B&H and Newegg.
 
Asus TUF's on Newegg 2x in the past 9 hours.
 
Perhaps supply is getting a bit better?

How fast do they sell out?  
 
The TUF is a REALLY nice card for the money, aside from the lack of 3x8-pin power.

All of the cards I've seen pop up have sold out in 5 minutes or less. Some in as little as 2 minutes.
 
I have gotten notifications about EVGA cards twice but by the time I received the email and hit the site they were long gone. Makes me wonder if the cards aren't going to Newegg, Amazon, Best Buy or B&H where the heck are they going since they're clearly not popping up on the EVGA site.

Not that it really matters, but man that gigabyte card is ugly.

I'd go you one better and give ugly an f prefix.
 
At the rate that cards are(n't) rolling out I'll definitely be interested in what AMD has to say on the 8th. Technically you can't REALLY call this a paper launch since some people did get cards but it's also pretty clear the stocks levels for them were ridiculously low and the restock/replenishment rate is abysmal.
 
The funny thing is I'd consider a 3080 a highish end, mid priced card and the 3090 a high end, high priced card so it ought to be hilarious how fast the 3070 goes out of stock considering it's a solid gaming card at an even more reasonable price.
 
The 3070 release would be hilarious to watch if it weren't so sad.

My preference is an EVGA card IF I can get one or I wouldn't be camping out here but if supply stays as it is at some point I'll go elsewhere or to AMD if they're competitive.
 
The thing that's concerning to me is the fact that in 2 weeks NVIDIA hasn't managed to restock a single FE card. In my eyes that's not a good sign ... at all.

The closest I've been to getting a card was a PNY was at BestBuy for like 10 minutes.  I just couldn't bring myself to buy it.  I haven't used a PNY since my 7900GT days.
 
I will jump ship for an ASUS card though.  Hurry EVGA you are on the clock for my money:)

99% chance those cards popping up on newegg are bot hunters. There is no inventory to them at all. Newegg has started to ban IP addresses that spam their site. So its a very effective way to trap bots. Have the same 2 cars randomly pop in and out every so often so bots go wild

That'd be hilarious if I got banned from Newegg for trying to put those cards in my cart for all of about 10 seconds.

For me, it's either a 3080 FTW Ultra or a 3080 ROG Strix, whichever one I can order first.
