so for anyone who preordered an FTW, have you gotten any kinda official eta (not counting the vague one from twitter)? Contacted Amazon they know nothing attempted to talk to EVGA. Seriously considering canceling my preorder to buy another card from any decent vendor who has them in stock. Amazon preorder was $742 this is a decent amount of money for a single card, just some info would be nice not "soon" I've always bought EVGA video cards had SLI 970 FTW+ cards and sold them to buy the 1080 FTW. I'm even using my old 570 HD cards in sli to get me thru till i get the new card but the frustration is real

Seems like they should ship next week. They said mid June. That'd be mid June.. Any later and I'll be concerned.

<sigh> Nope, no ETA. I check my order status frequently even though I know not to expect an update 'till ~16th of June. My 670 FTW in a brand new system feels really old right now.

I have no card to put in my system and have been waiting since I pre-ordered from their website on the 27th :( I just hope that it's here before next week's business days are over I don't want to wait another weekend.. Imo I don't see why they ship out higher quality cards first like Nvidia shipping 1080s before 1070s. They would probably make more money like that anyway.

I cancelled my preorder from Amazon for the EVGA GTX 1080 FTW edition. After tax and shipping it was $752. Newegg have the EVGA founder's edition right now for $699. I ordered one and waiting on XSPC to come out with their waterblock and back plate. The company email me and said it will be "very soon". I hope that is the case.

Late next week... so probably wont be early the week after the cards will be here.... so on the week of the 20th.... that is stupidly late.... way later than any of the other brands... and this is for pre orders

As much as I love eVGA they really did F this up pretty big. I am still staying on board with planning to get a 1080 FTW, but I am tremendously disappointed with how the 27th went and eVGA just gonna have to wait longer to get my monies I guess. Yes, I understand this will most likely fall on deaf ears, but the auto-notify feature is truly garbage by the time I got the email it was sold out / auto-notify again. This isn't the first time and I was refreshing though the day, couldn't land one, then at like 11PM of the 27th I get an email that it's in stock.... I suppose could be based on server load that day, but to get an alert that late at night when obviously they we're all gone. I did see a "pre-order" button but clicking it did nothing with how loaded the site was, and then never again to be seen or officially announced. The fact that there still isn't even a mention of a "release date" is very surprising not to mention the new egg orders that people are reporting. I sympathize with those of you that pre-ordered and have yet to get any news and hopefully don't get screwed like those that pre-ordred the Oculus...but that's another story.... and eVGA is certainly not Oculus. /tinyvent
