With the Intel AX201NGW work on the x299 ftw k e-key slot with a 10900x?

    I've always wondered if you could stick a ssd in there o.O or if it specifically has to be a wifi card.

    Support Manual for EVGA X299 FTW K (142-SX-E297) - page 36, has a list of tested devices
     
    Which CPU & other hardware do you have -- CPU PCIe lanes could be an issue

    I have a 10900x a GTX 1080 ti, 1 Nvme drive and a pcie soundblaster. With 2 raided ssd and 1 normal hdd.

    Thank you for pointing out the tested devices. Looking at the supported cards and comparing the connectors, It looks like the AX200NGW has the same.

    The AX201NGW looks to have a different connector.

    No. SSDs are B/M-keyed.

    i got this puppy on my dark 0 issues

    Cool thanks. I did order one. I was worried the Bluetooth may not work. But thought for £13.99 worth a shot with the antenna.

    Just installed the AX201NGW, works perfectly and so does Bluetooth.

    What a pain in the butt that was with the covers and io shield.
