Hmm. Maybe I am missing something. It appears correct on my screen. What are you seeing?

Just started folding now and fortunately there is post that mentions that it can take up to 10 hours until your details show up in the Extreme Overclocking site, so i will continue with the folding and hopefully tomorrow i will be able to put the badge up!

Thanks again for the help provided on the numerous posts!

Second test! But i think the dynamic badge does not show.

When i put the dynamic badge code on the Signature and comments box with my ID from EOC, should it be visible there or not? IT showed if i inserted the static image link.

Not just click on the image and the make it into a link using http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/user_summary.php?s=&u=737301
Then when someone click on your Banner

It will take then to your stats, you can copy the one above also and past it into your Sig,

In the signature section of your profile, select the badge image and click "insert/edit link". Then just paste the EOC link in the box.

Looks like there's some issues going on between the process that creates the badge images and communication with the EOC site.

Re:Test 2017/09/20 13:23:45 (permalink)
Yo. Got an email about this yesterday and just checked into it.
For some reason, my server is unable to connect to extremeOC so it can pull folding data. It simply times out, as though it's unable to reach the server (or the server simply doesn't respond). I'm not sure whether this is a transient issue or if perhaps they've suddenly decided to start blocking my server's IP; but for now there's not too awful much I can do about it. I might be able to switch it over to a different stats system if anyone has any ideas (if there's one out there which works as well as EOC and is friendly to scraping), but in the meantime I'm keeping an eye on the situation.

Thanks mrhankey946 and kougar for notifying me about it. Life's been hectic so I've not been an active member of the community for some time, but it's always been my intent to keep the badge system running indefinitely if possible =)

Thank you planetarian, I'm sure a lot of people appreciate your efforts! I also am familiar with not being as involved with the community as I would like to be. Unfortunately that is life and it happens, all you can do is try. Thank you again!

Where do I report problems or make suggestions?

A: You can always email me (Jason Rabel) via the "Contact Us" page, or there is a dedicated section in the EOC Forum for folding stats support. Please note that you will need to register with the forum before posting.

As a temp fix for my stats I followed these directions and added it to my EVGA signature  http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/?nav=IMAGES

First - You can use the UserID from the EOC Stats (preferred):
- http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/sigs/sigimage.php?u=*****     (***** is your unique ID number from Extreem site)

--- this Badge is Not as Nice as those made by planetarian

Re:Test 2017/09/21 22:10:39 (permalink)
Yep, I have sent a message via EOC's contact page and shall await a response. I'm wondering if perhaps something related to the recent stats outage caused the stats cache to fully expire and pummel the EOC site with new requests upon returning...or something. If that's the case then I'll be implementing some form of throttling to avoid hammering their server too hard in the future.

Edit: Also, holy crap, these things have been in use for like 9 years?! =o
