    Yeah had that a few times yesterday.  I thought something was wrong on my end.  Was glad to find out it's not my card that's bad, and it is in fact a bad work unit.

    Yes, gotten a few
     
    Also at times a GPU will seem to "get stuck"  --> by using the "Pause button", then the "Fold button", it seems to "fix" what ever made it stop
     
    There is still our friends " Could not get assignment" & "Server did not assign work unit" they keeps popping up -- like wack-a-mole

    The project is probably his personal recipe for protein popcorn he's working on. 
     
    Less humorously, this is the third time this year (that I even heard of) where one or even multiple projects were released to the general public when they weren't intended for public folding. I think they need to add an extra layer of authorization so people quit accidentally adding multiple projects to general distribution.

    That would mean they would need to start taking the project seriously and quite possibly PAY people.  You have to remember it's run by students, and volunteers and our tech support when the servers go down is the campus tech support, who don't work on the weekends when the servers go down.  I'm hoping with the recent influx of miners that team CureCoin has had that Stanford starts to take things seriously.  We're at almost 1.4 BILLION PPD, and the projects are starting to really suck, points wise :P  My 1080's are starting to outscore my 1080Ti on almost a daily basis now due to the lack of quality work units.  I'm just hoping we don't actually run out of WU's like we have in the past.
