In the same boat... I was waiting for the new design to be released for about 3 months, and wound-up buying a Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L RGB V2 to save a few bucks when it was on sale for $50USD. The thing is LOUD when under normal load and just ramps up from there, lol. But hey, it's RGB dazzling! I should've spent the extra 10 on the EVGA model since I've had no issues with their 360 CLC. The only time I really hear that sucker, is when everything is cranked to the max during gaming. I'll probably wait for a "clearance" sale on the existing models this fall to replace the CM 240 with a EVGA 360 on the that machine while waiting for the new model sometime in early 2023 to get it on another build I am working on to run the Raptor. I can probably offload the old parts on HW swap without issue... or figure out how EVGA's version of HW Swap works.

Shouldn’t be that hard to replace the cooler but I would use a chemical cleaner to remove any left over thermal paste. As for the Cooler Master I would wonder if it might be some air. Have you tried to move the radiator to see if it changes?

As you have mentioned, the noise does diminish with the rad off, but I think it might be the CM fans that come with the cooling unit. Just at 1000RPM they are louder than the 3 CM fans I swapped on the 3090KP radiator. They look quite a bit cheaper than the other CM fans I have bought as well. Almost similar in design to the older gen fans on the MA610P tower cooler I have. Not that worried about it though, but yep. The rad is responsible for some of the noise.

I am kind of wondering if maybe NVIDIA would announce a new generation of GPU and then we would see a new CLC launch. A new GPU would bring people to the site and a lot of people are probably looking to do whole system builds.

I would have thought it would be talked about if it wasn’t happing. EVGA was very upfront with the 40 series of video cards not happening.

I had the same thought.  If I need to buy a cooler before I can even see specs on EVGA's new cooler (assuming it's coming) I will.  If I knew it was actually going to happen, I have an option to hold out a bit to see it.

I was thinking the same thing, so I asked EVGA_James and he said they are still working on it, so thinking something happened in QC.

That's good news if it happens sooner rather than later.

I'm for sure getting one and hopefully a 420mm version would be nice but would take a 360mm if no 420mm, and a Evga next gen psu then my build will be all Evga expect the case

So does the EVGA CLX software replace the EVGA Flow Control?

I wish these aio's had thicker radiators. Always small to accommodate small cases.

Will the CLX software come with the new cooler? I don't see it as a download yet.

Yes, for the CLX coolers.  Flow control is still the software for CLC.  CLC is not compatible with CLX Software.

It's currently on the driver download page and on the EVGA Software page.
