Bonjour à tous, mon petit dernier de 6 ans a dans son PC une evga gtx 1080 ftw qui a cessée de fonctionner du jour au lendemain. Cette carte n'est plus sous garantie, mais ayant trois garçons je me soucie naturellement de l'impact écologique de nos actes, j'aimerais donc savoir si il serait possible d'envoyer cette carte en réparation à mes frais bien entendu pour éviter une pollution inutile pour un problème qui doit être bénin, étant donné que la carte n'a aucune trace d'incident ( composants brulé ou chocs ). Je suis disposé à régler les frais de port et de réparation bien évidemment. Merci de m'informer quant aux éventuels techniciens capables de réaliser cette opération dans le cas ou EVGA ne réaliserait pas ce genre d'intervention.     Hello everyone, my youngest 6 years old has an evga gtx 1080 ftw in his PC which stopped working. This card is no longer under warranty, but having three boys I naturally worry about the ecological impact of our actions, so I would like to know if it would be possible to send this card for repair at my expense of course to avoid a unnecessary pollution for a problem that must be benign, since the card has no trace of incident (burnt components or shocks). I am willing to pay the shipping and repair costs of course. Thank you for informing me about any technicians capable of carrying out this operation in the event that EVGA does not carry out this type of intervention. For information, i'm living in france.     eVGA doesn't do component level repair....I'm assuming you're in France or Quebec?
     
    You'd have to find a repair person in your area...they exist (not sure in your neck of the woods if they do, but repair facilities are around)...just not
    in abundance.
     
     
     Edit: Quick note....while some eVGA employees do look at the boards and answer from time to time, this is mostly an end user driven
    platform....just for your edification. You could email support, but I'm going to guess they'll tell you they don't do repairs.

    The prices are reasonable (in my personal opinion) in this day and age.

    Thank you all for your answers, i really disappointed that evga don't worry about reconditioning or repairing there products. I already have problems with Asus motherboards and graphic cards no longer under warranty, but asus took care of my repair request and sent them back to me functional. of course I had to send them at my expense to the Czech Republic, but the repairs and return were very fast. and I have not polluted unnecessarily by putting repairable products in the trash. So thank you to them for their position. I also admit to having a lot of Asus products with my three children, my wife and I, ranging from keyboards, mice, screens, towers, motherboards, headsets, etc... This may explain it. However thank you all for spending time answer me.

    I'm actually surprised that more tech minded individuals haven't set up their own GPU repair shops.
