oooooh endless space, my favorite shooty pow pow game right now. I like how it takes place in space, and never ends. Seriously though, I'm glad there's still development going on.

i can't believe no one has been able to make a true successor to MOO2.  
 
meaning, exact same play with much better graphics.
 

also looking at distant worlds:universe but it's at a high price atm.
 

let me milk my favourite genre a little more.
 
my ideal 4x game.  this would be a super game on it's own, very slow as well though.
 
combat - homeworld engine
spying - first person shooter
planetary fights - starcraft engine
 
the rest is based off of MOO ( research, layout... )
