Better to be part of the EVGA Forums community and make your post count for something
 
 
Demand has and probably will continue to outstrip supply - its a long process to source, build, ship, customs, stock ........

I wonder if this will cause nvidia new GPU to go up in price. Nvidia knows people will pay $50-75 more.

I am not sure why people think being an elite member is going to get them a card.
I have been a member since the first day and I am on auto notify and there are NO cards to be bought.

My three most recent auto notifications were for Elite Membership Only cards. It’s been almost a week since I’ve received a notification for any other models.

 It's not that hard to posts comments on a few things relevant to what interests you over the course of a week or two and hit 100.

My experience thus far has been a bit than this. I made a bunch of posts when I joined (just a few days ago). Because I was interested in the topics and not just to run up to 100 posts. But further posts I see are going to come slowly (perhaps because I have this silly idea that I should post when I have something to contribute, and not just to run up my count to 100).
 
It is no great shock that due to such a limited supply, even the GPUs for the "Elite" group are still hard to acquire. Attempts to limit miners is admirably but not perfect. I can live with that.

I wish they had made the Requirement 5 BR, showing that you contributed to the EVGA Forums

Then the spammers wouldn’t be able to get accounts. I mean, overclock.net required 35 positive rep to sell items on their forums, and that takes forever to get.

EVGA should definitely use that idea as a future possibility.

EVGA may not currently have stock, but by becoming an elite member it gives you the best chance to get one when the come in.

I would not agree with this, the Cooled Elite Cards are some of the Hardest to get in the Color you want. It is a Color thing for the Most part.
