EleetX error locking up my pc

I installed EleetX to control some Rgb strips and everytime i try to run it i get "CPU core ratio error" when i click ok or close it, it completely freezes up my pc. Now i'm not overclocked at all running everything default also gets me the error. Anyone have any guesses why this is happening?
Eleetx Version = 1.04
Motherboard = Z370 classified K
Cpu = I7 8700k

    Well i think i fixed my own issue(sort of) if i close precision and flow control than the error still appears but when i click ok the program runs without locking up my pc, also the colors are way off if you set it to blue the lights turn red, i had to set it to dark green for a dark blue color.
    Cheap Phantek rgb light strips.

    Same issue here with the same mobo and cpu. Worked fine for me yesterday as I was tweaking fan settings in BIOS and then monitoring fan speeds and temps. Reduced my SYS_FAN speed to 50% today and started getting the same error.

    Is it possible you are dropping the voltage to CLC or other device by not having the fan header at full voltage ?

    Long overdue update to this, reconfigured everything the way it was before and got the same crash. Uninstalled and installed v1.03 and it just locks the PC and restarts. Unless there's a fix to this I'm pulling it and running another program in its place. Oh, noticed it's a 64 bit program but it always installs to the x86 folder. Could be the problem but it's not my problem anymore.
