Even if that happen it may just be when supply increases. Either way if you wouldn't pay $70 more vs $500-2000 more on ebay then I'm sure what to say to you. $70 higher to adjust for tariffs is still way cheaper then other other options. who cares.
This is why Tariffs do not work, Unless We can produce whatever the product is in the USA the customer just pays the additional and the manufacturer of any said tariff imposed product still makes the same profit.
The customer is the only one that loses
Tariffs work for political and economic reasons even if consumers don't like them. New fabs will be online from TMSC and Samsung inside the US within a few years.
Samsung lost much being in Texas.
As did others.
The last round of tarrifs were done because the folks that did them had no idea what they were.
The same folks that thought free shipping meant Amazon was not paying Post Office to ship things.
That Covid was a Hoax.
Tread lightly with bringing politics into a forum about gpus. Especially when you broadcast to everyone what little you understand about the world.
