Nomoss that post this morning had me laughing. As a guy who has spent alot of time securing GPU's and building pc's for friends and family during all of this I completely understand. (I'm still taking $50/week payment from a certain family member for a 3070 i snagged from MC from him 3 months ago!) Or my favorite is you get everything all procured and they say "can i downgrade this or that? it's too much money"

Too many damn times. Now I require half upfront. I actually don't like building PC's for other people anymore.

Yeah, I'm done with building for friends.  This horrible year has cured me of that itch.

Im on the fence on getting either the 3080 ti xc3 hybrid or the ftw version. Do you guys know thats the difference. Like gaming performance wise

 
Likely minimal difference in games. The main difference is that FTW3 has 3 power connectors while the XC3 has 2. That allows a little be more power draw, but that will only help you if your cooling is really good as the chip will reach higher clock-bins the cooler it is running, assuming there's adequate power available to do so. What does that mean in games? not much. In benchmarks, you can see the difference the additional power will give you. This is also primarily only relevant if you plan to OC the card a bit. I don't know what the FPS percentage difference would be in games, but I'd wager not much.

Are the cooler the same. I have the 2080 ti kingpin. I overclock it. 2100 clock speed woth 48-50c temp.

I got my notice for the 10G-P5-3898-KL -- I won't be purchasing it, as I got lucky enough to get an EVGA 3080 FTW3 in December for my birthday. it will move on to the next person. Will lookup my signup time shortly and edit this post.
