Keep in mind that this system should make it easier to use a associate code during checkout if you want to save some money off the cards. You no longer have to worry about checkout speed with the notifications since the race to check out first is gone.

enewt There is a list that folks are crowd sourcing on Reddit (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FQupXX51TEgUaP4kIZIxVAMkYNDVzwaRbGikv7bGBgY/edit#gid=0). What is weird is that it is showing that somebody who registered on the auto-notify after me has already received his email and ordered. Now I am freaking out that the email was sent to me and gmail lost it or the wrong address was used. I will give it a day or two to work itself out, but gosh does this stuff get my anxiety up. Thanks again to EVGA for putting this system together; for the first time since the launch started I feel like I have a chance at a card and am not beholden to the bots.
Its obviously user error. That user entered 9/17 12:00:00 as the notification entry time and that entry was added to the spreadsheet before EVGA went live with the ability to look up your time, so likely the person who entered that just put a date and the sheet defaulted to noon. Don't read to much into it, users are going to mistype stuff into that sheet.

Since I entered 9/22 for FTW3 Ultra I am pretty sure I’ll get that card before my Step-Up card.

Yeah I keep checking. This sucks. I swear to Gaben I signed up for notify on the 23rd or 24th. I remember the elite only 3090s, people mentioning getting emails that it was in stock is what helped them. So i went to the 3080s page and notified for xc3 l, ftw3 and ftw3 ultra. All 3 now say I signed up first time Oct 5th, 8:45 PM. Which is wrong. I might have a chance of getting one in a month since I signed up late 2 weeks ago, but it's going to put me at just two days ago, it's probably going to take like 3 months

there is a long invisible line dude. I’m hopeful but it’s looking grim. I say we should be waiting until next year.

I checked mine and signed up for the 3 non ftw cards on 9/16 at 7:04am it says, I hope this means soon I'll get an email. Has anyone received email with a later date ? Oddly there hasn't been a lot of reviews for their cards , I only care about thermals and it seems all 5 models use the same cooler correct ?

I planned to step up but this changes things. Step up or wait for the below notify? lol i Haven’t been this impatient for something for a long time. EVGA Product Alert You have already entered for a notify on the following date/time: 9/17/2020 9:32:40 AM.

I've noticed a lot of people complaining that they have seen others that signed up after them that already have their Purchase emails. Well you have to remember Jacob already said this week it's all FTW cards, so those that signed up for XC3 cards are going to be next week. Whether you signed up before or not.

The one thing that kind of is confusing to me is that if the email is sent and they have 8 hours to claim and do not does that send out the email to the next person on the list instantly or does it wait until the next day. For example if the email goes out at 9AM and at 5PM the person doesn't buy the card at 5PM is a new email sent out at 5PM? The biggest problem would be if we get into the point that a card could be not bought and an email goes out at 1AM because the last person didn't buy it. I am hopeful that it would wait and that only one or two groups of emails are sent out a day. While I know people are really wanting to get the cards I feel that sanity would be better if people feel they only have to check the emails once or twice a day to see if they are at the top of the list.

the 12 pm flat timestamp seems like an approximation. His actual time may have been much earlier in the morning or even midnight of the 16th. Remember, these are user reported and could be wrong.

Jacob said they are sent out in batches, so unclaimed cards will re enter the system to be sent in another batch

And I believe he said they are only sending emails out during business hours (presumably CA business hours)

keep in mind the queues are separate for each sku, so there are 10 total queues that depends on which cards are restocked

Thank you so much! Received my email earlier today for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra, am super stoked that I'll actually be able to play with Ampere without having to wait until 2022, lol. Cannot express my gratitude towards Jacob and the EVGA team so much for providing us the opportunity to place actual orders for the cards instead of it just being a mad rush to click "add to cart".

I am truly sorry if that is the case. Hopefully it is just a site error and you have not actually lost your place.

You signed up for all 3080 models or only the FTW? I signed up on 9/16 it says and you on 9/17 yet you got an email before I did.
