That’s actually not the worst deal I’ve seen on eBay, and for a hydro copper that you can boost and water cool, I think that’s legit.

I also think it’s legit to cancel notifies once you’re out of the game too. I plan to as soon as I get my hands on a card. Whenever my luck changes.

Thank you. I've tried to get a deal for a card and not pay over $1800.00 and wasn't having any luck until tonight. I hope your queue number comes up soon so you won't have a long wait.

So I was able to get Elite Membership and I did the whole NEW member prize that got me 20% off coupon... I was hoping to use it but I wont be getting a notify anytime soon and was wondering if its allowed to give my coupon code away. So whoever responds to this with the best answer and wants the code ill send it to you 20% off. It expires after 90 days its been maybe half that.

Unfortunately no; the coupon is linked to your account.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the community spreadsheet ☺️. I hope you all get your card soon!

If you found the spreadsheet useful, please consider using my associate code for your next purchase:

I stand corrected. Watch for Best Buy drops, AMD Drops, enter Newegg shuffle. You can get cards on eBay for close to retail. Maybe I have just been lucky lately....

How much "close to retail" is close to retail for you?
These are the GPUs I'm interested in (I got a Mini-ITX case, I need (not "want", "NEED", else it won't fit in the case) 2/2,5-slot GPUs with a specific maximum width, these are the ones within my requirements and, basically, EVGA is the only AiB producing small VGAs from 3070s and up):

3060 Ti FTW3 Ultra 3667: EU EVGA site: € 459,99 VGA + € 15,99 shipment + 22% VAT = € 580,70. Lowest on Ebay: € 750,00 VGA + € 9,00 shipment, total € 759,00. Price difference +30%

3070 XC3 Black 3751: EU EVGA site: € 519,99 + € 15,99 shipment + 22% VAT = € 653,90. Lowest on eBay: € 950,00 VGA + € 24,99 shipment, total € 974,99. Price difference +50%

3070 XC3 Ultra 3755: EU EVGA site: € 559,99 VGA + € 15,99 shipment + 22% VAT = € 702,70. Lowest on eBay: € 988,00 VGA + € 11,39 shipment, total € 999,39. Price difference +40%

3070 Ti XC3 Ultra 3785: EU EVGA site: € 609,99 VGA + € 15,99 shipment + 22% VAT = € 763,70. Lowest on eBay: US $ 1.250,00 VGA + US $ 50,54 shipment, total US $ 1.300,54 (roughly € 1.094,60). Price difference +40%

3080 XC3 Ultra 3885: EU EVGA site: € 749,99 VGA + € 15,99 shipment + 22% VAT = € 934,50. Lowest on eBay: € 1.300,00 VGA + € 9,00 shipment, total € 1.309,00. Price difference +40%

I would pay 10%, maybe even 20%, more than MSRP to actually get a VGA in my hands right now, but 30% at the very least? Yeah, scalpers can go f**k themselves, I only hope they will have to spend all of their money, and then some, on medicines.

Re: New EVGA.com Notification Checkout Process 2021/08/03 04:14:53 (permalink)
OK broad brush I am about to paint with, this is a general observation and may not apply to everyone, only the vast majority :D

I tend to agree with Eric99, as I have said in posts before, it is up to YOU to secure a card and if you have not yet, you either have not put in the time required (which I know not everyone has to sacrifice, but that's not a scalper's, miner's, or company's fault), have been overly picky, or simply stubborn/lazy.  Married with 2 kids working a salaried IT position, and I am near 20 cards that I have obtained with 0 tricks, just some substantial effort and a tiny bit of luck.  The people I have sold them to, for 0 profit, are usually the ones not willing to put in the work to get them.  The constant crying and blaming and tantrums get SO OLD here.

For those of you in Europe, get over it, EVGA EU queue is a dry well, keep your queue spot and focus efforts elsewhere.  EVGA is not capable of filling the favored US queue, the EU queue is going to be much worse.  Maybe EU retailers are not getting cards, but that's not an EVGA queue problem.  Now tell me about how that's so unfair, while I pay some medical bills.

For those of you in the US, just knock it off.  Get on discord, hunt in packs, camp out at Best Buy, put in the work.  I help mod a couple discords where other members donate "extra" cards for sale.  We sell at least 2-3 per week at cost to members there.  Only rules are the mods decide who is most deserving, but a lot of you would have to check the constant salt, negativity, and blame at the door and behave.  My guess is you would rather pout in the corner until someone brings you the card you want for the price you want on a silver platter.

Long story short, cards are out there, do not only have a single lead like the queue, diversify and you will be successful.  If you are waiting for a specific card at a specific price, just know that a million other people are probably gunning for that same card, so you have to OUTWORK them.  Crying is not "working", crying might work on parents, not retailers and AIBs.

As always, good luck and fast queues y'all.

yeah slowly losing faith in the que but it is a great concept.  i am only 2 seconds away in the que for a 3080ti so i will try to hold out but if the coupon expires i would probably just snag a 6900xt or 6800xt. i was only hoping for the que due to the coupon. still love evga and my 3080, psus and other things. still a great company

man this que really dried up!

I think anybody that has wanted a card, has got a card by now. Now its just a matter of getting the one you want, rather than settling on whats out there.

You would be mistaken.... I am still waiting on a 3060.  I am literally running an 11 year old GPU because I apparently picked the WORST time ever to upgrade/rebuild.  I will say this... if this shortage continues I may just go back to console gaming.  This wait time is ridiculous.

I stand corrected. Watch for Best Buy drops, AMD Drops, enter Newegg shuffle. You can get cards on eBay for close to retail. Maybe I have just been lucky lately....

I think this is the caveat to your original statement. Something like, "I think anybody that has wanted a card, and has spent over a month or two following drops across various retailers, has got a card by now."

Most people I know who have put in the effort to follow drops through various drop tracking discord servers and what not have had the ability to buy various cards. The issue, like you said, is that this method usually doesn't get you your first pick, you have to be willing to buy whatever card you can without hesitation.

But if people have only signed up for queue and been relying on that to get them a card, or only looking for a specific card, then yeah most of those people probably have not purchased a card yet.

Yeah. Nope…

You do can get VGAs, lots of them, random models. That is, if you're willing to feed f**king scalpers and their taking advantage of the situation. Which I don't. I will never reward such a course of action. In fact, for all I care and hope, all scalpers have to do is spending all their f**king money on medicines and medical bills. And then some.

Are you telling me you've been able to buy all of those VGAs at MSRP or very close to it?
Where? Ofc I can buy now a VGA fitting my SFF build. If I'm willing to pay at least 30% more than MSRP to a f**king scalper. Thanks, but no, thanks. But I will be glad to buy from them when they will inevitably be forced to sell at lower than MSRP with a nice loss. That's the only way a scalper should be able to sell any goods. But paying them more than MSRP to let them profit with no added value to the market? That's not a normal behavior, and it's not a steal I will support. And, unless your work involve the use of a VGA (in which case I'm terribly sorry for you), shame on you if you're willing to support them.

That's my two cents on the argument and obviously in no way a targeted rant against drewski989.

Scalping is not done but the number of cards you could turn for a profit is considerably smaller today it was than just 2 weeks ago. These pressures should help to ease the situation.

Hope so. Main problem is still the manifacturing. Foundries all over the world are in full regime, orders are sometimes even locked out and this will most probably go on for another while, till the new programmed foundries are finished and at work. Which is expected to happen somewhere around 2022.

I looked at the spreadsheets.  Couple of questions.

How to I get my reservations added?
Also why no tabs for the Ti cards?

Are you telling me you've been able to buy all of those VGAs at MSRP or very close to it?

EVGA RTX 3070 at MSRP from Micro Center.
MSI RTX 3070 at MSRP from Best Buy.
EVGA RTX 3060 XC Gaming at MSRP from EVGA.
EVGA RTX 3090 Kingpin Hybrid at MSRP from EVGA.
EVGA RTX 3080 TI FTW3 at MSRP from Newegg Shuffle.
EVGA RTX 3080 TI FTW3 at MSRP from EVGA.
EVGA RTX 3080 TI XC3 Air Cooled at MSRP from EVGA.
EVGA RTX 3080 TI XC3 Hybrid at MSRP from EVGA. Passed on this card because of the bad performance the XC3 cards were having. Beta Bios Testing seems the performance issues has been fixed on these cards.
EVGA RTX 3080 TI XC3 Hydro Copper at MSRP from EVGA.

I must be one of those outliers then. I've put in a [bleep]-ton of effort, discord groups, youtube alerts, twitter alerts, distill alerts. However I bet I have missed 2-3 times more drops due to working during a drop than I have been able to participate in. If I were to camp a drop while at work, I'd be fired. getting near 100 attempts at Newegg, zero results. Said it before, but bears repeating, those with all the luck tend to not be able to comprehend not having any luck.

Patiently waiting for BB, MC and/or NE to open in the EU, let alone in Italy. While waiting, I'm camping discord, telegram and whatever you can think of, nothing (useful for me, as stated in the previous post, I have to have the VGA to be into specific measures or it won't fit my case) even remotely near MSRP. I'm also camping thursdays' AMD drops, no luck as of now. As sturm375 says, "those with all the luck tend to not be able to comprehend not having any luck" in the VGA field.

As always, good luck and fast queues y'all.

for those of you in the "US"...another one of these guys.just go away !! and zero profit yeah right out of the kindness of his heart

With any luck the 3070ti should come your way soon 😁

I find it hard to believe that a scalper would spend the amount of time conversing in this forum that someone like drewski does. Besides he is a regular and I am a member of the discord he speaks of. He is not misleading you. I get it though. It's painful to not have that which we fiercely desire. Let the salt flow to get it out of your system and then pull up a chair at enewt's campfire for a long slow ride.

I'm actually starting to ponder the idea of moving my Mini-ITX build into my old MasterCase Maker 5 for the time being. At least, I could use my RX 590 till I can get a compatible GPU with my Sentry 2.0. It's just that I got so into SFF I can't stand that big case anymore… ^^;

Well, I do say so, but my next beefy build will be into a Graphite Power Mac G4 (I already got a non-functioning one), modded to accomodate a custom loop for both CPU and GPU. THAT will be some challenge ahead of me, considering it will also be my first custom loop! :D

In the end it boils down to the luck of having the ability to be available during the drops. I've been there for EVERY one and still have only had marginal luck at best, it's crazy.

And even that is an oversimplification, because it also means being familiar with the way drops happen, when, etc. Most sellers keep changing it up, either the 'when' or the 'how', and you have to be on top of that in addition to being able to be logged on when it happens. Like having the add to cart script for AMD for about the past month, without it you were screwed. And now they've completely switched to a que system so that doesn't matter anymore anyways! Every week it's different, and without constantly keeping up with what's going on, it's not going to happen. Even these EVGA queue's, if you don't have twitter notifications on or a Discord group that broadcasts this stuff, you won't know to be ready for the dumpster fire scramble to get on notify queue (I love EVGA but seriously, drop days are a Zotac-esque dumpster fire).

I just removed all my notifies except for the 3090's. I got a water cooled 3080 ti off e-bay last night. The closest SKU was the 3967 where I was 2 min 11 sec away. If my notice come up for the 3090 I'll buy it and sell the EVGA 3080 ti XC3 Hydro Copper on the for sale forum. Good luck everyone.

I believe i would change the case if it were me.

I'm actually starting to ponder the idea of moving my Mini-ITX build into my old MasterCase Maker 5 for the time being. At least, I could use my RX 590 till I can get a compatible GPU with my Sentry 2.0. It's just that I got so into SFF I can't stand that big case anymore… ^^;

Well, I do say so, but my next beefy build will be into a Graphite Power Mac G4 (I already got a non-functioning one), modded to accomodate a custom loop for both CPU and GPU. THAT will be some challenge ahead of me, considering it will also be my first custom loop! :D

Best of luck with your decision. Either way sounds like you you have some fun, pain, tears, and accomplishment in your future!
