I beg to differ. In my opinion, only a very small percentage of those waiting here ever got a card, especially in the EU. For example, I have 10 different cards in waiting and none of them ever have a chance of ever being purchased. Especially if you weren't there on the first day and only found out about the Elite program later. At least with 2 cards I did everything "right" and got through in the first hour, only these queues are also moving at an extra slow pace, with a few seconds per week if at all. But no matter, the prices are anyway not so cheap that you would have missed much. It's still pretty frustrating, especially since this mess started years ago and Nvidia pretty much exploited the quasi-monopoly position before AMD came out with RDNA. Those who thought the 2080ti was already expensive were soon left wondering even more. It got even worse.

I wonder why the 3899 queue hasn't switched to the KL SKU yet. The vanilla 3080 FTW Ultra and Hybrid variants both have, but not the HC. Doesn't matter to me either way since I just want the damn card lol
IDK.... it seems like the HC cards take the longest to get. I just want one. with no drops last week its a little concerning.
Hydrocoppers always take a long time and move slowly. I wish it would move quicker but alas, I will still wait however since its incredibly hard to even find them elsewhere. All the retailers pretty much exclusively focus on the aircooled variants

I stand corrected. Watch for Best Buy drops, AMD Drops, enter Newegg shuffle. You can get cards on eBay for close to retail. Maybe I have just been lucky lately....

I don't think this is true entirely, but I think for a great many there is a truth that lies in the middle. I know of MANY people personally that have been trying for a specific card (or one of a couple cards) and not looking elsewhere or even considering an alternate, as well as a plethora of other reasons. IE: - I'm in multiple queues, one will pop up....eight months later....
- I don't have time to try for BB or AMD drops.
- I refuse to go AMD (or in some cases Nvidia).
- I only want a white 3080 that was crafted at sunset by a man with one arm, that is the only card I will try for.
If you are at all picky in this market, you're either not getting a card or you're going to pay out the pooter for it. If you're desperate, just grab something that isn't a terrible deal and trade up later.

Well, my second post and unfortunately it is not because I got the email from EVGA but I did win the shuffle for the MSI 3070ti. I would have preferred 3755 as I have been waiting on it since 12/4, but had to jump since I have seen no movement on any 3070 since the KLs released and the KR jump ahead of me in the line (should have stayed KR but hindsight and all). Enewt, wish I could use your code but Newegg wouldn't let me (don't stop doing what you do it has helped all of our waiting). Thanks, everyone for the positivity most of the time  and I hope everyone gets their card ASAP!!! I will be removing myself from the queue for the below cards. I hope this helps someone's wait shorten. I get to rebuild my old 6600k with the 1070 I am using for my wife now that I do not need it anymore (she has been waiting for this since Dec. as well). So I was able to get Elite Membership and I did the whole NEW member prize that got me 20% off coupon... I was hoping to use it but I wont be getting a notify anytime soon and was wondering if its allowed to give my coupon code away. So whoever responds to this with the best answer and wants the code ill send it to you 20% off. It expires after 90 days its been maybe half that.

Yep...and a few sellers on hardwareswap are selling for $1500 local cash and/or $1600 shipped for the 3080 ti cards. if you have to pay a 6% sales tax on a 3080 ti($1450 x 0.06) is $87 + $30 for shipping, you are essentially selling at a loss...scalping is done...I think we may even go negative if we can get some substantial card drops

If scalping is done, then why scalpers continue buying every card at Amazon and other retailers as soon as the cards, like the ftw3, comes in stock?. Amazon is restocking the ftw3 every 5/6hs, and I can't even add it into the cart.

This is simply not true. I'm still waiting to get a card.
Never stops amazing me how oblivious people with luck are of how unlucky others (myself) can be. Most of the drops that happen, do so while I am at work and I'd get fired if I were to stop my job to try to obtain an MSRP card. Those drops I've been able to participate in I've never gotten close to anything. I'd bet I am pretty close to 100 attempts on the Newegg shuffle, not one win there either. Long story short, still looking, still hoping, still no luck.

I broke down and bought an EVGA 3080 ti xc3 Ultra Hydro Copper on e-bay today. Tired of waiting and just bit the bullet. I paid $1725.00 + taxes. I'll cancel all my notifies in the morning.

That’s actually not the worst deal I’ve seen on eBay, and for a hydro copper that you can boost and water cool, I think that’s legit.
I also think it’s legit to cancel notifies once you’re out of the game too. I plan to as soon as I get my hands on a card. Whenever my luck changes.
