Hey guys, so I recently picked up an evga classified from ebay for my 4th gen i7 processor and during install, I noticed that it only has only one USB 2.0 port. Is this correct? I cant find any other usb 2.0 ports on the board and my understanding was that E-Atx motherboards have more ports and space for you to be able to add more things to them. Is that not supposed to be the main advantage of an EATX board?

Thanks for the input/clarifications

Sorry I meant usb 2.0 headers on the actual motherboard itself not on the io panel

Weird..Only 1 internal USB connonnector, huh?..That would be the one normally used for the front panel USB port/s on the case.

There,s 4 USB 2.0 and 4 USB 3.0 ports on the rear I/O panel, according to the mobo manual..USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 are compatible.

If you need more USB ports, there USB hubs available..Also, USB interface cards that fit in mobo PCIe x1 slots are available..Know that PCIe x1 cards will fit and work in PCIe x16 slots.

Some keyboards and monitors also have USB ports that you may not be aware of.

    You can search those things.

Yup I use the one usb 2.0 header for the front panel and I have an Evga clc 280 that I also have to connect via the USB headers which I cannot do on the z87 classified.

Unfortunately I found this out after setting everything up so I had to undo everything and go back to my old motherboard. I ordered an nzxt usb 2.0 header splitter to fix the problem.

My question is though that why such a high end gaming motherboard which is also the Eatx edition would be lacking such an important usb header? Even my old motherboard that came oem with my pre-built has two USB 2.0 header.

So basically I think that I can't find the extra header which is pretty possible
