Finally someone is bringing back the LCD screen on the keyboard, and this time it is a mechanical keyboard (Logitech's G15 was not).
The only thing that I'm not happy about is that it seems it has a red backlight that you can't customize (it is not RGB).

Ummm... didn’t they show off this exact same thing 3 years ago... Or was it 2 years ago??? Who knows... not sure why they keep showing the same things. The 2200P2 power supply should get more views. The keyboard is just a unicorn that no one really needs anymore.

The keyboard itself looks good. The main problem is......the display.

A lot of EVGA's products have stagnated in my opinion. My perspective is that they have forgotten what they were good at (GPUs and motherboards) and tried to diversify too much, entering markets where they are at a disadvantage going up against well established competition; such as producing gaming peripherals against Corsair and Razer. It represents poor management and long term vision to me. I could be way out of line in thinking here but I think it is a reasonably common opinion. Ever since Shamino left (after X58 boards released) their motherboards have been sub par, which is why I've used ASUS for X79 and now Z270. Perhaps revenue dropped after the P67/X79 disaster so they decided to try diversifying income by selling a bigger variety of products, I am not sure.

With that said, some of their newer products work out. That power supply looks awesome.

Agree, agree and agree.  If I could take Asus's MBs and EVGA's CS, they would dominate the whole platform.

I personally think screens like this are useful on keyboards and I would like to see them more.

Just take out the LCD screen, and launch the keyboard already for a good price tag.
It's been just too much time for no major changes on this keyboard.

All the complaints about the outdated screen last time this was shown and they did absolutely NOTHING about changing it. Nobody wants that garbage outdated screen! This is 2018, not 2006. We have USB 3.1 that can give enough power probably to power a proper 720p screen. Take your phone, a normal sized one, not a large + phone or something, and hold it to the top of your keyboard. Wouldn't that look a lot better? With the right software you can do just about anything you want. Imagine having Discord voice chat down on your keyboard if you want it, or a whole longer list of PC stats. This product was under developed.

I like the look of the display, kind of retro. Made for function not Aesthetics
