EVGA rtx 2080 ti 11gb xc hybrid power cables

Hi everyone, I'm in the process of installing an EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Xc Hybrid. Should I run 2 individual power cables to the card or is the one Y cable that splits into two connectors ok to use? If either is ok, which do you recommend? 
 
Edit: Also, if 2 separate cables, do you have any recommendations on which to purchase?  My PSU only came with two Y cables, not single cables.

    You can Use the 2 -"Y" cables & just do not use the short jumper part of the cable - I use black hook & loop material to blend it into the cable / fold it back onto the cable
