USALion Are the XC3's going to be big next week? Like 100s, 1000s? Not just a handful?
Looks like a medium to large batch. Jacob is good about saying a small drop, so we'll have to just assume a decent amount of XC3 next week. Exact estimate on the #'s is impossible to accurately gauge without every single person who bought one raising their hands. https://twitter.com/EVGA_...us/1314230417470357504

rain2_usa XC3 did have a few drops but they were super small. I wouldn't doubt it if it was 10 or less, but they were dropped. Right now, Jacob is saying XC3's are next week. I'm guessing it has something to do with the shipping/customs (China did just finish Golden week on the 8th and US had a federal holiday yesterday). It just seems EVGA wasn't expecting a smaller shipment today because it felt like (based on their announcements last week), that XC3 and 3090's would be this week. 3090 is still on the table for like Friday possibly, but more likely everything is now next week.
Thanks for the update. Fingers crossed they show up this week, if not next week works as well. Yea, while we keep hearing about all these FTW3 releases, it seems like all the people interested in the XC3 release are just being ignored. Had I known this in advance, I would've just signed up for notification on the FTW3 cards. All my notifications were set for all versions of XC3 cards so at this point I'll buy whichever I get a notification on 1st.

charbel1011 that's no solid if it was fair as u think he would reset the queue system and star fresh. who in the right mind would know to press auto notify on launch knowing those things don't work, and he even admitted that the auto notify doesn't work back then and had issues. waiting for next year for people who signed up on the 5th is no fun man. im here with my 970
I love how everyone complaining about how this is unfair keep trying to justify it by blaming absolutely everyone else for their own failure to signup for an auto notify and then suggest a “fair” solution that would directly benefit them the most. Lol
Regardless of how well the auto notify system works (especially in light of how fast the bots move) it took less than 5 seconds to do and cost you literally nothing to try, with the benefit that maybe it would work and you’d get lucky enough to score a card. If not, you were no worse off than before, but yeah... let’s reset the WHOLE system so EVERYONE (bots included) can spend hours hitting F5 to be able to secure a spot in line just so you can feel better about your position in the queue. Sheesh.

flg2010 I don't know. You have to wonder what will happen if AMD ramps up production of their new lineup, certain versions of it test faster then the 3080, partner brands get sufficient supply, and its all purchasable in massive stock by Dec 1? At the very least if their offering is better then the 3070 I predict 3070 - dead on arrival. If its the same as the 3080 more or less .. its going to cut into sales... again driving demand down. I will eventually get my step up but my second rig will likely have an AMD card in it.
I would like to hope AMD have a decent offering and stock, but all signs point to AMD GPUs hitting market late November. And given the holiday season, AMD will run out of stock as fast as Nvidia even if performance is not at par. And judging by the numbers shown in the Ryzen launch presentation, anyone expecting AMD to beat a 3080 is simply daydreaming.

The popular rumor is that is not the top SKU. That doesn't make sense to me personally. If it wasn't their top SKU, their marketing is terrible because they really should have alluded to that. Making it known that there is a higher performing SKU would have gotten people more excited. I guess theres the chance they don't think there's any issue since Nvidia currently can't get out enough cards anyways.

But, it's working perfectly, isn't it? AMD hasn't said a word, but all of Techworld is speculating that we didn't see a full-speed Big Navi in those benchmarks.

I agree. It should be the top SKU, else it makes no sense. And also, AMD's production divided between Zen 3 processors and the Navi GPUs am not really hopeful of availability. And also, I am sure people already know this, but am gonna repeat again. The current shortage, demand-supply gap is a typical AMD thing, that has happened every time AMD launched a GPU and also AMD does not allow partners to launch their version at the same time as the vanilla one.

I clicked auto notify from the very beginning on pretty much all models, several times. Never got an in stock notification nor did any of those notifies register. I was wondering one day because I saw EVGA stated that if you clicked notify, even before they announced the queue system, that you would be put on the list, so I went and checked and non of those ever registered.

Is there any new word on the queue for the XC3 line? I havent seen an update as to the current situation in several days. There seems to have been several small drops from retailers for these cards. Has there been any emails sent out from the queue? Any ideas as to where we are in the line? thanks

3070 XC3 Black had significant drops last week. 3080 XC3 Black first email went out this week. 3080 XC3 Ultra has also dropped a couple of times

I subscribed to Notify Me out of curiosity as my target was a 3070 and not 3080. But seeing the stock woes, I will go for a 3080 if I get the email.
3070's seem to be a lot more available from what I've seen though. 3080's seem to be the most demanded overall, so good luck either way.

I'm beginning to wonder if they're still making that card at this point. This is beyond frustrating at this point.

Well that's depressing. I didn't sign up until October 30th. I may as well give up. Are the step-up program cards coming from the same pool as the retail purchase waiting list, or do they have product set aside separately for each pool of waiting customers?

justin_43 There is a list people are making here on google drive. Add yourself and get an idea: Obviously not everyone who signed up is there but it's something
That list is kinda weird in some areas. Like saying that tons of people suddenly skipped certain versions. Yet.. I'm on the queue sandwiched and sure as hell havent received a notification. So the ones after me could not have skipped already.
