EVGA has implemented new step-up rules to make the system fairer all around and prevent abuse. The changes are an excellent step in the right direction to combat bots and miners.
 
Unfortunately, this can affect your Step-Up request if you request more than one card with the same SKU or more than one card per household. Either of these conditions may get your Step-Up request canceled. The rules changed early this year and are applied retroactively.

 That would have sucked for me back when the 1080 Ti's launched... was 1 per-household but I was able to get 2 sense I stepped up 2 1070 FTW2's.
