I dont feel real comfortable about giving location. east coast USA

The location question was because If you lived close enough to Ohio you could drive it over here to my workshop.  My kids and I all run custom PCs and my parts shop looks like a mini microcenter.  In fact EVGA and CORSAIR needs to sponsor me or something.

Thank you. If i was in the area I'd be making a trip out there

🤔 you take affirm as payment

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

New card is here.

So far, it is working. I was able to get a display, install drivers, and successfully complete a few benchmarks.

I do see this card has a QC-OK sticker, so im guessing it went through some checks.

As incredibly frustrating as this has all been, i am at least thankful for EVGA's cross-shipping RMA process.    I've been all over the place emotionally during this thread, i apologize for that. It has been a difficult time for me, and for everyone really.  EVGA was kind to me through the process

If all goes well I will not have to update this thread with anything negative.    Im cautiously optimistic

Thanks to everyone who shared a kind word about the loss of my friend, a useful thought, or any tips that could help me. I appreciate it very much.

I wish all of this could have been a smoother process...but the as the saying goes "wish in one hand...."

Good to hear. Still concerned there was something maybe shorting with the case, but hope it's smooth sailing from here. Enjoy.

I'm glad that everything has finally worked out and know that if you run into problems, there are a lot of very knowledgeable people here who can help.

I can understand all the grief you have had to endure. My manual dexterity is very bad and I have to think way ahead when I attempt the simplest of tasks.
Muscular Dystrophy is one of my many problems.
You have shown remarkable inner strength. Good for you.
Lesser people would not have been able to cope and handle it as well as you have.
As I read your story, I shed tears for our many buddies who have come and gone.
Many were born in the house and died in the house
It is never easy dealing with the grief. I have tears of joy remembering all their characteristics.
Best of luck to you..

Just be glad they sent something similar I guess 2080 ti vs 3070 are very close give or take the title being played. Tons of people that sat out 20 series card because of the raster performance decided to wait on 30 series look how that turned out.
