I've just received my CLC280 as well as my z370 Classified K. Great looking pair of EVGA products. The Pump has a 3 pin port out to motherboard cable. The Classified K has 0 (zero) 3 pin fan ports. How is there no adapter provided? which 4 pin fan controller port would be optimal, CPU1, CPU2, SYS1, AUX, PWR?

I've discovered that the 4pin headers are backwards compatible. which leaves the question, does it matter which one is used?

Use any that make cable run easy
I used cpu1 and cpu2 at the top middle of the Motherboard

Just set fan control in BIOS to MAX that is do not use smart
you want the full voltage if you plan to use the EVGA flow control software to set speed.
