Like the title says, I'm getting my 11 series chip today and it would be nice to have a motherboard to put it in before 14 days go by for a hassle free return should the chip not work. So, Where are the z590s and when are they launching?

eh, it's not even worth it. the new 11th gen chips are actually performing worse than 10th gen. i wish companies would show some integrity and band together and say, yeah we're not even gonna bother with that one...do a better job, intel.

I wouldn't buy an 11th gen unless it were at discount and I don't see it happening. 11900k's are flying off the shelf despite lackluster performance.

Thermal performance and PCIE 4.0 storage. But ok, "reviews". Perfectly happy with my 11900K.
EVGA actually tests their products before release. They are always later for a reason.

The EVGA z590’s are going through a full refresh of PCB layout, so it may take a little more time to get them to the market due to this. So far, only renders have been shown of the motherboard, and hopefully the finished product is presented soon.

I can wait as long as it takes. These CPU's are pretty damn good in real world gaming performance, and decently priced for what you're getting. I wouldn't ever suggest air cooling, or even AIO cooling them but yeah they're definitely worth the wait 😉

Latest update from Jacob on Twitch this morning: Z590 FTW in 2nd half April - should be in the next 2 weeks. Z590 Dark Jacob said not this month, but "possibly May" (so maybe not even until June?). On a positive note, ALL new EVGA releases from now on (including Z590) will be available ONLY to Elite members for the first 24 hours (queue system), so that should help cut down scalpers eating all the stock. Good job EVGA.

Based on reviews.. of the 11900k my 10900k intel rig is staying just that for at least another year.

UPDATE Z590 FTW will be available for Elite only starting this Thursday 4/29 at 10am pacific time. After 24 hours it will then open to non-elite. No definite date on Z590 Dark yet, and uncertain if we can step-up from FTW to Dark. 3090KPHC (card + block) *may* be available within next 1-2 weeks - keep eye on EVGA Twitter account for announcement. It will also be elite only.
