EVGA Z370 Classified K: Speakers in rear audio jack not detected

I finished my build yesterday and the one issue I'm still having and can't figure out is that the speakers that I have plugged directly into the rear audio jack of the mobo are just not showing up in Windows. They show up as disconnected because I had previously used them on this PC before upgrading everything.

    You have installed the audio drivers and software correct?
    What is this "Upgrade" you have done, and system specs?

    Every attempt I've made to install the drivers and software results in an error stating "Setup is unable to detect a supported product on your system."
    The upgrade was from an old i3, gtx 950, and an MSI mobo (don't remember the model), to the 370 Classified K, an i7 8700, and gtx 1070

    Is the audio disabled in the bios, only thing I can think of if the drivers and software wont install
     
    You did that system swap without a fresh OS install?

    Are you sure the jack itself doesn't have a problem?

    Alright sorry for the delay in responding, been a bit since I've been able to work on this. I did do the swap without a fresh OS install. Other than this it has gone without a hitch. I got the drivers to install from a different location and now I can get sound out of those speakers. Now only issue is the control panel software didn't install and still won't install.
