Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of overclocking my RAM, and I find something strange things regarding the VDIMM voltage.

When using XMP, it sets the VDIMM to 1.35 in the BIOS, and it reads 1.360 (E-LEET Utility shows 1.349V is set, and reads 1.360 aswell).
Same results when you set the VDIMM manually in the BIOS.

Now, when you try some lower voltage, like 1.348V with E-LEET, it drops to 1.336V.
So basically, you drop from 1.360V to 1.336V.

Also, droping the VDIMM to 1.34V doesn't change anything, it still reads 1.336V.

Is this " normal " , or " not that weird " ?

Sounds like the software isn't reading it correctly. Trust the bios readings over eleet.

Same stuff in the BIOS actually.

I'm a bit confused here. If you make a set voltage and save the setting (in the BIOS) and restart then go back into the BIOs are you saying the voltage reading changes?

If I set the VDIMM to something between 1.349 and 1.340, the reading is 1.336. If I set the VDIMM to 1.350, it reads 1.360.

I think I figured why, but I don't understand why it's designed like that.

    So basically, screenshots :

    VDIMM set to 1.349, reads 1.360 :

    VDIMM set to 1.348, reads 1.336 :

    VDIMM set to 1.324, reads 1.336 :

    VDIMM set to 1.323, reads 1.312 :

Then, when you take a look at E-LEET :

You have those graduations, thus, I guess you can't really put anything between those value, it auto-corrects to them.
