Team,
First of all I know this question was already answered in a number of different ways in this forum and other places but wanted to triple check and get a fresh answer before any additional step so really hope you dont mind to see the same exactly question duplicated here.
So I got a new Classified K z370 / 8700k / 2x Corsair Dominators 3000mhz / EVGA FTW3 1080ti where I was able to deploy everything without any problem - windows up and running, everything was performing as expected, 8700k with a little bit of an OC at 4.7ghz all beautiful! My problem started when I have decided to update my BIOS from 1.07 to 1.08 using the BIOS available in EVGA site (tried to post the exact link of the BIOS I used but forum is deleting the link so)
For some crazy reason after this update I was able to start my desktop one more time and then started to get an error code 23 - no beeps, no POST, lot of error leds lit and even the fan spin is different.
After a few "light" troubleshooting no changes. Tried to unplug the PC for about 12hrs - same thing.
When I switch to the second BIOS everything is back to normal ! all clear and good ! and of course just to avoid any other crazy brick I did not change a single option in BIOS here - all stock - and if I return back to the first BIOS I got exactly the same error 23.
So what is the recommendation here to recover the first BIOS in a way I dont have any risk to corrupt the second BIOS?
Thanks all!
