Just purchased an XR1 lite. Downloaded the HDCP Control for XR1 lite 1.19 utility. Disabled HDCP aaaaaaaannnndd... it doesn't work. No video from HDCP input sources. Sigh.
How do I get this HDCP bypass to work? It's the reason I purchased this capture device.

I suggest that you ask EVGA directly.

    https://www.evga.com/support/custsupp.asp

If they can't help, try to get a refund.

In case it helps anyone landing here... I heard back from EVGA support. I misunderstood what the 'HDCP Key Tool' does, apparently. It does not allow you to capture HDCP protected content. In other words it is not a way to bypass HDCP. I don't understand what the tool does. They sent this to me, which I can't quite parse:

    > The Key tool is not for bypassing HDCP.
    > In the case of using monitor to receive signal from HDCP source, it would detect
    > if the capture device have HDCP protect mechanism. The signal would be sent only
    > when the device has the mechanism.  And the HDCP KEY Tool utility on and off is
    > for monitor to display or not.
    > When it comes to PC (OBS), HDCP resource would not be sent.
