Good day everyone!
I'm new to the forum and I am having issue with my newly bought 3080. When playing games such as Warzone and CODMW, i'm only at 15% GPU Usage at most and 55% or less CPU Usage. I do have Ryzen 3900x and most of the people from reddit and other forums are having the same issues when paired with the said CPU. Just want to know what are my options to fix it? Thanks!

I have the same issue. Use the DCH/Studio driver. However, I also had to set the Target "Power & GPU Temp" slider or else the card would still not do anything. So install Precision X1 and set those accordingly. The game ready drivers are busted and this functionality just did nothing for me. If you don't set the power slider to something high w/ the Studio drivers, the card just decides to only use like 20% max power ever, resulting in such abysmal performance. This causes the "boost" functionality to basically do nothing and stay in low usage clocks.

Edit w/ Picture!: The white number is the current power draw. Just set the slider to 100. It caps out at 107. This just means how much power you want the card to always aim for. Doing this WILL NOT make your card always run at 100%. All it does is allows the card to have a maximum power draw to aim towards. I had to use the Studio Driver + The PX1 solution. The PX1 fix alone did nothing for me using the the GRDrivers.

Feel free to PM me when you get back. I spent a few hours troubleshooting this exact thing yesterday. This was my confirmed steps to get everything working.
 
1. Uninstall drivers using DDU & Reboot. 
2. Uninstall PX1 if it is already installed & Reboot.
3. Install DCH/Studio drivers: https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/163535/en-us & Reboot.
4. Install PX1: https://www.evga.com/EVGA/GeneralDownloading.aspx?file=EVGA_Precision_X1_1.1.0.2.exe&survey=11.1.0.2 & Reboot.
5. Set Target Power Slider to 100 and Temp 85ish (or just max if you have +850W PSU) see picture in my previous post for example.
6. Open up game and test.

So unfortunately, I did DDU, switching to Studio Mode and PX1. I still do have the same issue, I'm playing at 1080p by the way to get more FPS, I also used two separate PCI-E 6/2pin and the other end is a solid 8 pin Type 4 connector, 1 of each PCI-E is connected to each connector of the GPU. Any other options? Thanks!

Lol I’m playing at 4K with a 980ti I certainly want a 3080.

That's the case with most product launches. Remember Ryzen 1rst gen launch ? It was a massacre of bad some issues / drivers were. A few months / years afterwards and now it's awesome. Early adopters takes the product as it comes with its defects, it's part of the game of being an early adopter. That's like DLSS 1.0 vs 2.0 for example. 1.0 was sloppy, ugly and not very efficient. DLSS 2.0 in comparison is a beast, useful and pretty, it's not perfect though but it's way better. 
The more you dig the more you'll find examples of that. You gotta accept that if you buy it day one.
 
Btw, I'm saying that and still projecting of buying a 3080 FTW3 within the next few days / weeks, when EVGA's stocks hit the EU store / retailers. Because I expect drivers to mature with time and be better and better each time. But I know i'm likely to experience some weirdness, at best. 

Luckily, if it's hardware related and not driver related, EVGA has an outstanding customer support should we need one. That's why I'm not really worried that should there be a need to swap something or take care of something, EVGA has got you covered. And they seem to really trust their design so I appreciate that too.
 
Now, I'm sorry to have " hijacked " your thread as I don't have (yet) my 3080 FTW3. I hope you'll get a fix soon. 

I did the power slider, i didn't do the OC bios so far. I do have better performance on the GRD. I guess it's the driver update.

I don't think I do have the same issue. My GPU temps when gaming was at most 72*.

Are you guys still getting issues and is it at 1080p?

Like I sad many times! Sooner or later they will all have to be returned back to EVGA if company do not file bankruptcy like they did long time ago.

It does have 5 POSCAPS and 1 MLCC. I can try using the DSR factors from nvidia control panel and see if that helps, I hope EVGA can do something about this if by chance it's faulty. 2080ti doesn't have an issue about 1080p though, I just want to maximize the frames I can get but 110-140 fps while streaming and gaming is too low for a 1080p.

I think I read it on a reddit post, but lowering the core clock speed may help mitigate the crashes. When you launch your game, the clock speed rises and it may be hitting a limiting factor because of the capacitor combination. OC'ing will for sure cause crashes but even so, it's still having issues. Try lowering the clock see if that works.
