I just received this card yesterday and have been running benchmarks and testing it on games to check its performance. However, with almost every game I have played, I have been getting substantially low fps. (Warzone gave me around 80-90 fps on low settings.) I have heard that this could be because my CPU is possibly bottlenecking my GPU, but I have read threads that told me otherwise. I attempted many steps to fix this: updating Windows, reinstalling new Nvidia drivers, etc. Is there something I am doing wrong. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Very likely CPU issue. If you want to test it, run the game at a higher internal resolution (use the resolution scaler, or setup DSR through nvidia control panel). If you can get your GPU usage up to 95%+ in that situation, you'll know your GPU is doing its part.

What application should I use to test out my GPU usage?
One of the most popular low-cpu usage benchmarks you can do is 3DMark Port Royal. Then you can compare your score to what the average card can do. Good way to know if your GPU is up to snuff. If it works well there and you have issues with FPS in other games, then you know it's other settings and system components holding it back.

I mean if you don't want Ray Tracing or DLSS...sure...get a 6900 XT. That gets 33FPS in Shadow of The Tomb Raider, 30FPS in Watch Dogs Legion, 26FPS in Control, and 25FPS in Metro Exodus at 4K with Ray Tracing on. Super great GPU. Totally worth paying $1000 ti play at 30FPS or under at 4K. May as well just game on a console. :P

just alot of problems with the card atm it seems . im having issues in a different way with my card but cant be arsed moaning on here about it .
but yea im trying to get a kingpin myself for my gaming rig hahahaha

take a round of Superposition benchmark in 1080p Extreme. This will make your card go to 99%

Have you found anything to fix this yet? I have an oc 10600k which I know isnt bottlenecking and I'm getting low fps in every game I play. I'm also getting crashing in some games after I play for 10-20 minutes

3080 isn't a 1080p card your CPU bottleneck

I did a Benchmark using that tool. I got a score of 11154 on 1080p Extreme. I checked and many other people with 3080's are getting similar results. My GPU is doing well on benchmarks but not in game. Any other suggestions? frauss

I’m having this same issue. Idk what to do. 1440p max setting or 1080p max or low settings I still get 80-90fps. I’ve uninstalled drivers/reinstalled them. I’ve tried to everything I can think of but no luck.

I was having the same problem, GPU and CPU usage between 50/60%, I try everything, reinstall windows, DDU, etc. The only game that works fine was Control. I had a single 16 GB RAM, today I add another 16GB stick and I looks like everything is working like it should, usage is between 80-100 on GPU. For example in Gears 5 the frames were between 90 and 120. Now they are above 140 almost all the time and can reach more than 200
