The revo drive is not very reliable and would occupy a pci-e slot. I would vote for the intel 5100 right now or if you can find some C300s for a discount, in raid0 would be your best bet if money matters. It seems sandforce does not have garbage collection so using them in raid like the revo drive would submit them to degradation. The Marvell controller would then be a better choice.

It looks like the answer is mobo Rev 1.1.
eVGA ordered up an RMA for me today.  A Sunday!
My board is an early 1.0 version.
And yes, I've been running on about the S3 Resume from Sleep issue that seems to be prevalent on so many early X58 based boards.

My sources are telling me that the BIOS is in testing right now (as was also indicated by Jacob's Twitter post), but the testing is not near completion yet so it will be a bit still before the BIOS is out.  I would not expect it to be much longer though

Let the testing take as much time as it needs - we don't want to ruin our systems with this long awaited bios. Especially for those who purchased there boards like two years ago

Really hope your sources are wrong.....
Seems like if they are testing a beta now that it shouldn't take another 2 months to get it out to us, unless there are serious issues with the beta.

EVGA used to be a great company (I've been a customer since early 2005). But after 2017 it went completely downhill. EVGA doesn't treat customers as customers, but as complete idiots! I used to own over 30 EVGA products (videocards, motherboards, PSU's and so on). Not anymore. #evga #pathetic
