Has the issue of the "double pump" been fixed?

To clarify about what I am talking about, The system powering off on a restart with VT enabled been fixed again yet? It was fixed in bios 59, and i would like to see this fixed again soon. It the only issue the concerns me most I like the E760 very much. My 8 hard drives plugged into the motherboard PSU do not like this, nor does my blu-ray burner.

Please fix this.

If I understand your problem right, you can fix the issue of missing ram by setting "tRL" at the very bottom of the memory settings page to +1 or +2 according to the bios tooltip. Try it out.

I have a bloodrage with this same issue and it has never been fixed either.I am starting to wonder if there is a flaw in the x58 chipset.

Help me out here, I'm curious are you referring to when say for instance you go into your BIOS to change some memory settings, voltages what have you and then hit F10 to save, it then shuts off and restarts? If so I'm of the opinion it's by design though hopefully someone more knowledgeable could elaborate.

Still have the same issue with this BIOS of 8/12 GB RAM when I clock RAM any higher than 1100 or so.  RAM is rated at 1600.  System sees all 12 if I keep it under 1100 but that's pretty low.  Tried changing TrL settings to 0, +1, +2, no changes at all.  Set Ratio to DRAM, no effect.  Changed DRAM voltages from 1.5 all the way up to 1.65 (RAM is rated at 1600 at 1.65), no effect.  Tried re-seating CPU / Heatsink, no effect.  Not sure what else to do.

ok my question is how can i make a backup of my original bios incase i want to revert back?

or is there a download section for the original bios for the 760 classy somewhere that i am not seeing?

the i7 has an integrated memory controller.  increase number of ram modules= increased demand on the imc.  vtt is the voltage for the imc.  have you increased the vtt?  if not, increasing the vtt slightly may help.  dramv minus vtt should not exceed 0.50 volts or imc may be damaged.

Changing the VTT doesn't seem to do anything as far as fixing the missing RAM when I overclock it above 1333.  Unless I am changing the wrong thing?  In the BIOS there is an option to change the CPU VTT which is at +0 mV, is that what you are referring to?  And if so, how far should it be changed, like +50, 100, etc?

on side note i just updated a few hours ago to this bios no memory issues. with lower volts i get higher overclocks and lower temps.

only complaint was the cpu host freq could not go up and down only down, but my system seems to be much quicker overall.

Hi all i have the EVGA x58 Sli LE 2Gb x 3 (6GB) on Windows 7 64bit with EVGA 220GT 1024Mb HDMI VGA DVI with I7 930 CPU 650WATT PSU
2 x 500GB Seagate G12 SATA Drives AHCI mode ect.
all with latest bios, anyway sometimes when the system boots or goes into suspend it comes up with (3gb Usable) in windows or even sometimes 1GB usable.
the bios has the 64bit enabled how ever i cant find the mem remaping option so as far as i know the 64bit option in the bios does the same thing so you can use the full 6GB of ram in windows 64bit but yet this problem does anyone have any idea's.

The Ram is Gskill 1333Mhz as well.

Never use profiles saved from previous bios. Manualy set everything after fllashing and loading defaults.

Fixes are cumulative (includes them).

Would I select e757 - EVGA x58 LE bios for my X58 SLi LE Mobo?

In a way, I'm glad that I'm not the only one who has the disappearing RAM problem. Obviously it isn't a hardware issue (at least I pretty much cleared that one up) and nothing I did with the BIOS fixed it. Sadly, this update didn't help any. But maybe a few years into the future, a BIOS will come out and I'll be able to run all 6GB Tri-channel. Granted, 6GB will be very much obsolete by then but still....
