Davabled sunderstan Looks like the issue of missing 1.5x uncore multiplier for 6 core CPUs still presists.... Do you have a retail or engineering sample of the CPU? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the 1.5 ratio was only available with the engineering samples of the CPU, and they changed it back to 2x ratio on production CPUs Although you may not know Chinese, you can simply check it out by looking at the pics here. http://forum.coolaler.com/showthread.php?t=233509 That 3003A957 was running at 3200MHz uncore while the RAM was running at 1000MHz. Actually from the EVGA BIOS's help, it said uncore of Gulftown A0 can be run at 1.5x while Bloomfield and Gulftown B0 must be 2x. I really hope Jacob will fix this soon.

"Hello Comrades, next week i´ll get my hands on a xeon w3680 processor. will there be any problems with my 760 mobo? bios version = No.51 there are rumors at www, that only desktop version i7 980 is supported (at the moment). if so, is there any beta bios released yet? thanks in advance & sorry for my broken english ;) " *** Is there any chance to fix that problem by BIOS update in near future? Do i have to solder like shown at kingpins forum? Can you confirm that? *Dankeschön*

This BIOS works fine for me, at least as stable as BIOS 51. The fixes for S3 resume CL latency timings from BIOS 51 have carried over to BIOS 56 and overall, I think S3 resume is actually a bit better as there's less input lag from KB after resume.

Agreed with stephen when retail 980 will have the 1.5 uncore ratio? Three bioses and no change, damn don't make me buy a Rampage 3 Extreme!

Seems like EVGA left us 920 folks for the 980's . Why don't we fix past issue's like the double pmp vt,s3.
