Good to hear.. Now did you feel the ATX connection to see if its hot at all?

Cold to the touch.  I also repeated the test just now, LinX and Multi-GPU FurMark configured as stated in my previous post and still cold to the touch.  See screen-shot below (re-sized from original 1920x1200)

Edit: Right-click the image and go View Image to see slightly larger version of the screen-shot.

Nice should had been done in the first place tbh not by us but when it was made=/ I do go by looking at the voltages at this point and so far i think the silverstones done dip below the 3.3,  +5v 12v 3v and the other 3.3v that they should be holding up none stop the antec seems to drop some with mass loads being put on it...

I think the Antec would stabilize more as a result of this mod because of it's multi-rail design.  Both the AX1200 and the Silverstone top end parts are single-rail design.

yeah thing is i own both even with the mod those voltages are dropping on you, where the silverstone psu, puts out just enough voltage so you do not go below the set rated voltages the mobo should be getting. like the 12v did drop a good degree without the molex once I added it, it stayed at 12v+ under stress.  I am not even running a top silverstone psu at the momment as well should had gotten a zeus

How are you stressing?  Also, what other stuff are you running?  I have the following all running off the same PSU for day to day...

i7 920 D0 at 4.21GHz, 3.4GHz Uncore
Mushkin Ascent 998692 at 6-7-6-18-72-1T, 1.72V
2x HD5850 overclocked to 1000/1250/1.2875V
8x Gentle Typhoon 1850RPM direct to PSU
3x Antec stock fans from the Antec 1200 case
2x DDC 3.2 pumps at 12V each direct to PSU
Killer Xeno Pro
Auzentech X-Fi Forte
2x WD Scorpio Black 2.5" drives in Raid 1
1x OCZ Vertex 2 Extended 120GB SSD

Can you post a screen-shot of the Silverstone running for approx. 15 minutes like I did showing the software read voltages when using both LinX with all DRAM and Multi-GPU FurMark?  Also, keep in mind that you have a different chip and there are some power-regulation differences between the E759 and C3.  A lot of caps have been changed and stuff, for instance.

Like before you start your voltages are higher but once you start stress testing say your 3.3v goes below to 3.1x-3.2x or your 12v reading 12.11 will drop down to 11.8x to 11.9x your 5v dropping below the 5v and so on. With the silverstone psu I can honestly say after using the two both antec and silverstone the silverstone keeps those voltages up to what they should be.  I guess I am just too anal about things like that =) Like one difference I know about evga and asus boards is your qpi frequencys evga boards run it .3 lower than it should be/its set to where the asus boards run it .5 higher than what it should be on what you have it set to. Just my own personal gripes a I guess=/

But its nice to see where your voltages are at now, and having that same psu knowing how low they dropped before the molex mod on a 759 board.

Mine is running QPI higher actually, not lower (this is what I was asking before...started happening with newer BIOS for E759...oh well).

Also, the 1.91% drop on the +12V rail is not seen unless I run Multi-GPU Furmark.  There is no drop with LinX, Prime95, or LinX/Prime95 + Vantage combination (see first screen-shot above with LinX running and voltage staying steady at 12.11V on the 12V rail and 5.00V on the 5V rail).  I would say that for 24/7 use the Silverstone is probably a better no-fuss choice.  Also, you are comparing the regular TPQ-1200 to the Silverstone.  The TPQ-1200 OC is more up to par with the Silverstones and Corsair AX1200.  I would not pit the TPQ-1200 against AX1200 for instance.  That is why I picked up an AX1200 after the TPQ-1200 OC bit the dust.  I'm still waiting for the replacement TPQ-1200 OC to arrive but the Corsair AX1200 is more than sufficient to demonstrate the difference in voltage fluctuations before and after the mod   I still think the gain on the Antec will be more noticeable because of multi-rail design.

Good, good.  More confirmation the Molex mod is working as expected.  I would have liked to see All DRAM or minimum 25000 problem size (sorry I know I am sounding like I'm nagging hehe but it puts more stress on the system than the 10000 problem size).

Yeah i just clicked start as soon as it started up lol but before putting on the molex they dropped a bit more than they are now,  with the silverstone psu. It comes to show your case and mine that the molex is needed on the 759/760 classified boards....

Ok so i have been read this forum and i guess whats happening is the e759 can supply the GPU's with enoff power so the 24 pin melts and FIRE. GREAT i just order and E759 off b-stock **** **** **** great. WHAT DO I DO. I saw some pictures of someone taking a molex and soldering it to the underside of the 24 pin. OR I just send back the board now i NEED HELP.

Absolutely.  There is no doubt about it.  If you are running multiple HD5800 series or GTX400 series (470 or 480 flavors+) this connector is a must.

Any more than a single HD5850 or HD5870 and I'd say you need some more juice.  I burned out with two HD5850s.

do the molex mod or pay someone to do it and keep it 759>770  Trust me I loved my 759 board just for the fact It had the nf200 chip on it.  You only need to do the molex mod if you running GTX 480's in sli/tri sli and select ati card setups. otherwise no need to do the molex mod on the 759/760 classified... I am still sticking by it should have had the molex on there to begin with....

Well, that is up to you.  Honestly E759 is still probably the best board you can get out there.  Just a matter of what you want to do...mod or not.

THe mod is no problem my father can solder anything. i mean the hole reason of buying this board was the extra nf200 chip and running 3 way sli. Should i keep it. i have the box sitting on my desk right now ups just dropped it off. Do i open it and make a youtube video or send it bad because i dont no as of right now

You say you can do the mod, then keep it.  There is no reason to get rid of it if you can do it.  Just make sure it is done right (rather wired right) otherwise you may smoke your new board.

Yep just keep it. The mod is simple enough.

bad idea do not even think about it... you will be trying to push more power though the 24pin 12v pins you will still encounter the same type of resistance thus a meltdown, and all the bad stuff to go along with it can happen, the molex must be mounted below the 24 pin on the board on the back, this lessens the load of the 24pin pins from the psu to the mobo...

actually its the E759 and E760.... so yeah the response they gave is a kind of hold you over not really explaining anything nor how to prevent it.
