EVGA X15 P and D buttons not working

I just got the mouse today and both of these buttons are not working. I updated the firmware, I try both USB 2.0 and 3.0, I even change the key assignments and still get no input. Is my mouse faulty or am I doing something wrong?

    The D button is for DPI by default. Pressing you will see the 3 while bars light up with each DPI Stage, up to 5 different dpi stages. 
     
    P is for profile switching and the LED should change colors for each profile.

    Might be a faulty. Please contact our support team so we can set you up with a warranty replacement.
