Its going to take time for the market to stabilize. It will eventually. Definitely be optimistic about it.

99% get sent to Amazon, Best Buy, etc.. who then lets them get bought up instantly by bots, then get sold on EBAY for 3x times market value.

All manufacturers are affected by the semiconductor shortage. EVGA are making as many cards as they can under the current circumstances.

    Where they are you ask?🤔
In a Van at the corner where you live all nice and used from the Miners not EVGA😁
    At cheapo prices😸

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

Miners buy all the stock, you don't have any chance to get one of them.

Will a vendor ever care for the real consumers. The fact that there are no bot protections is stupid

I think you answered your own question, bud. A bunch of crypto mined cards getting released in bulk doesn't affect EVGA's production rate of new cards. Why would it? It only helps the people who are willing to buy second hand cards used to mine. And most of us aren't in that camp. You don't want to buy on third-party sites just in case you might get a mining GPU. So what exactly do you believe is happening that would suddenly increase EVGA's stock, especially if no one wants the used cards released on second hand sites?

I'm frustrated with this situation too, and I want my preferred card already, but ranting about non sequiturs doesn't actually help. Bulk used GPUs from China is not the same thing as brand new GPUs from EVGA.

Exactly. I see the same things, but a lot of these GPU deals are miners selling their entire set up.  Sure a 3060 is $270... if you buy 500 of them.

EVGA can only produce what they get from NVIDIA in the allocation of chips to all AIBs.  That is not going to change anytime soon.  Things may improve by next year and in the meantime, all we can do is be patient for the queues to move.

They need to change the website layout each drop. I think it would help a little. But they won't care because it's sold.

Just need stricter rules. Right now the 1 SKU per drop rule is way too lenient because anyone can just buy multiple GPUs as long as they have different SKU

A good portion of the GPUs or at the very least, components to assemble them (EVGA assembles in the US don't they?), are floating in the Los Angeles Harbor atm, at least according to some of the people I know (Source: Trust me Bro[tm]). The ports are horrendously bottlenecked right now. Turns out nobody wants to move boxes for Amazon Dot Com for $12.50 an hour and 2 Mr. Pibbs a week. Especially when they make triple that on Unemployment.

Since EVGA air freights from Taiwan and if EVGA's GPUs and components are now floating in LA harbor, then that's a really big problem that probably would have been a major news story.  I would say you have an E5 source.

Just curious. What unemployment program is paying $6,000 a month or $72,000 a year? My state has a max benefit of just below 1k each month, and $300 bonus each week from the pandemic relief (ending September) makes it a total of $2,200, rounded up and assuming the absolute best case. I think that's right at the poverty line for a typical household.

This is why I hate this generation lol. 12.50 a hour is kind of a good starting pay rate.

Pays 5000 for 3060, still not elite enough for membership.
