Hello, I was looking at the graphics card model 12 08G-P4-6678-KR, also known as the EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti FTW ULTRA. To fit this card in my case, I have to saw off the third slot of the I/O bracket to make it two slots wide (just the bracket, not the card). The specific case is the Cooler Master Elite 130. I was wondering if someone could confirm that this does not void my warranty on the card, since an EVGA expert that I contacted through Newegg said that I would not void my warranty as long as I do not damage the card itself. I just wanted to triple check and make sure that I can keep my warranty even if I saw off a part of the I/O bracket. Thank you for your help!

    My guess is that it would void warranty or atleast evga would make you pay for a new bracket when and if you needed to rma the card.

    Easy thing would be to call evga and ask 24/7.

    Maybe they have a 2 slot bracket you could by instead.

    Yeah I just contacted EVGA via phone and they told me that I would void my warranty. I also asked if they sold a 2-slot bracket, and they told me that they do not sell such a thing for this particular product. RIP because it had a $20 rebate which would make it $390, and with this cooler it would be great if I could fit it in my case.

    We do have a 2 slot bracket for these cards for people who are installing waterblocks on them. I apologize for any confusion.
