Hi

My PSU is a EVGA Supernova G2 850w, and I just bought a 2080ti, which demands a dual 8 pins. However, my PSU cables are at best a 8 pins + 6 pins.

I do have however, from an older GPU, a 2 x 6 pins to 8 pins adapter.

Is there any way I can make it work with what I have or do I need a different PSU that have a dual 8 pins vga cable included ?

Thanks

Alan

You can use a Dual 6-pin to 8-pin Adapter one of your Dual 6-pin cables..Yes, that is fine.

But your 850 G2 should have came with two PCIe cables that have two 8(6+2)-pin connectors on each cable, didn't it?

You can also buy Dual SATA to 8-pin PCIe adapters and Dual Molex (Perhiperal) to 8-pin PCIe adapters if you search around.

    So, you mean use a 8 pins from a 8 + 6 cable in vga1 and another 8 pins from a second 8 + 6 cable in vga2, then power the 2080ti with both 8 pins ?

1x6+2 1x6 on the dual connector cables - applies to the 850 G2 AND the 1300 G2 to my specific knowlege.
