This 3070 is my first card to have dual power connectors and I'm not entirely sure which VGA plugs on the PSU to use or if it even matters?

Here is a pic from the manual:

VGA1 and VGA2 grouped together with 2x PCI-E 6+2 pin
VGA3 and VGA4 grouped together with 2x PCI-E 6+2 pin + 6 pin

My 3070 has 2x 8-pin connector ports.  My PSU came with 2x VGA power cables with just 8pin to 6+2pin so I'm going to use those.

Which ports should I use on the PSU? VGA1 and VGA2 or should I use VGA1 and VGA3? Or does it even matter?

Thanks!

The VGA ports are the ones to use. As far as cables go, do not use one cable that has a 6-pin +2 and an 8-pin. Use only the 8-pin connector or the 6-pin +2 in one 8-pin connection on the GPU. You should have two cables attached to the GPU, not one. Additionally, I like to use the VGA1, etc in order. So for one card, one cable connected to VGA1 and one connected to VGA2. If you have a second card, then use VGA3 and VGA4. It does not matter though because they are all for the graphics card. Do not connect the GPU to the PERIF or SATA connectors on the PSU.
