Brand new (2 days) purchased new from Newegg EVGA power supply.
When I shut down my pc, from windows 7 pro, windows exits but my power supply is still running. The only way to shut everything off is by turning the switch on the power supply off.
Anyone else have this problem?

That's not unheard of..Try fipping the ECO Mode switch and see if it matters..That's been known to cause the issue.

But if the PSU won't shut off and keeps running, as a quick test I would disconnect either the 24-pin connector on the motherboard or the MB (motherboard) connectors on the PSU and see if it shuts off.

The motherboard is what grounds the PS-ON terminal 16 of the motherboard 24-pin connector to make the PSU turn on and keeps it grounded so it continues to run as long as your PC is on, and ungrounds it to turn it off when the motherboard finishes it's shutdown routine..Removing the connector/s would interrupt any ground.

Your 750 G2 should have came with a tool that fits on the 24-pin connector to turn on the PSU..It emulates what the motherboard would do (ground pin 16) to turn on the unit..See How do I test my power supply? in the EVGA FAQs..You could try that also.

Checked all my board connections and switch plug in's on the MB and everything is plugged in correctly.
Switching the "ECO" switch had no impact.
My PC case switches all work correctly as in power on, reset .
Unplugging the main power connector (24 pin) the power supply does not run.
When its plugged in the power supply is partially running while the PC does not boot.
It boots fine using the PC case power switch or the power switch on the motherboard.

When you select power off in windows it tries and windows exits and some power is cut off but other power is still on.
My fan/s , graphics card light for a couple.
Is as if something in the power supply is not cutting all the power off.

99.9% sure something is wrong with the PS.
The one I replaced and the PC was working normal.
