Hi,

I`ve had this psu since sept 2014 with no issues at all however since I upgraded to a MSI 3090 suprim X and added the 3rd 8 pin cable under load playing P3D when at highly detailed sceneries the PSU is clicking. If i turn the view to an area that is not intense the clicking stops, tested this last night by using mouse to drag over the intense area and could have made music from it lol. Question is....what does this sound like? i`ve opened support ticket to maybe RMA but waiting for response. Definitely the psu as had the side of case off and listened to it.

Many thanks.

The RMA is the right call. It's probably not a major issue as I have heard of clicking in a PSU before but it's best to contact support anyway.

If you're psu has echo mode and it's active you might just be hearing the psu fan kick on, if so turn off echo mode then your fan will be running constantly. That would at least tell you if it's the fan turning on that's making the noise.
