Might've sprung for this if 2080 Ti models were included, -

Would have also pulled the trigger if the 2080 ti models were included.

Agree, Was hoping for the 2080 Ti. Also no cross shipping so I have 2-3 weeks without a graphics card, silly

Oh yeah considering the promotion seems aimed at folks still using these older cards no cross shipping is surprising, - my 980ti is just lying around so I didn't think of that.

Sadly I am still using my 980 as primary.  Almost pulled trigger on a 1080 Ti last year but waited to long.  and the ridiculous prices on a 2080 Ti.....

The 2080 would be a huge step up but its still $600 plus my current card and 2-3 weeks wait.

Why no cross shipping? Seems silly not to offer that for people that don't have extra graphics cards lying around.

It's actually not just silly.  It's really asinine.  "No exceptions" explicitly posted in the ToS.

I'm sorry but, in my opinion, this offer blows.  I'm seriously contemplating AMD as a viable alternative.....

Agreed with all. EVGA has a quality product but this deal is complete rubbish. No card for a few weeks (depending on how popular the deal ends up being, the "inspection" of the old card could be pretty backed up), no 2080TIs, and quite a bit less credit than if you sold the card yourself.

No 2080 TI and you can easily sell your 980 on ebay for alot more makes this a terrible promotion...... 3 months 0% is dumb as well. I can put a new 2080TI on my credit card, sell my 980 on my own and the difference of what I get for it will pay the finance charges for 3 months.

This is basically gamestop trade in values but you have to wait to get your new stuff....

I miss the old step-up program....

The page shows the discount for the qualifying 900/700 series card and the base price for the upgrade card (before applying the discount from your qualifying card).

In other words, if you have a GTX 980, it will show that you have a $100 trade-in value for  the card.  If you then look at (for example) an RTX 2070 FTW3 in the dropdown menu, it shows $499.99.  After applying the discount, your upgrade 2070 FTW3 will be $399.99 + taxes/shipping/etc.

Thank you very much.  As a suggestion, there should be showing what product that was selected before payment.  I found out the hard way by looking at my RMA and caused me to call you guys  immediately.   If it makes it easier, could someone change the model number?

I do wish I can select 2080 TI Hybrid

$100 for a 980 classified that still works, what a great deal, for them. I would consider $100 for a burnt out card they could refurbish.
