I have a SUPER RTX 2070 on my NewEgg wishlist and it has not been in stock for a week or more. Seems that there are not enough cards to go around again.
I have to wonder if digital coins miners are at it again.

I was hoping EVGA could step in a clarify if there are product shortages as the cheaper models are MIA,
of course the more expensive one was available, for a few pesos more

If you go to an online store like Newegg you'll see that ALL RTX 2070 super cards for example are out of stock or there are very few cards remaining for ALL manufacturers.

Would not surprise me at all that the manufactures are holding back their inventory of super models to clear out their inventory of non-super models.
Nvidia pulls a minor upgrade and price cut to their line to squash AMD's Navi, leaving manufactures to scramble to minimize profit loss on their existing inventory of non-super models as why would you buy a non-super when it will be more expensive than the super model and slower also.........
The manufactures would then need to slash prices on their non-super models to get rid of them.
My guess is the availability of super models will clear up right about when the inventory of non-super models is almost gone.

Its a bit surprising that there hasn't been much erosion in the pricing of the 2080, but it is a good bit easier to get a binned card for under $700. $660:

The RTX 2080 is a tad expensive for my tastes. The EVGA RTX 2070 SUPER with three fans was good enough for needs and it is a lot more affordable.
The 2080 will be priced fairly at $600-$650, right now they are too expensive but don't have far to drop.

checking in today there are now some models of the RTX 2070 SUPER now available. The RTX 2060 SUPER prices are almost as high as the RTX 2070 SUPER which eliminates them from consideration at the moment.
it does appear that stocks are being sold faster than expected

I have noticed that several models have completely disappeared the NewEgg listings. Not sure but it now seems that the availability if Super class cards is very limited.
May newegg was caught with a lack of inventory and they yanked the models when supplies did not surface

Is there some rhyme of reason as to when we can use one of the affiliate/associate codes to get a 5% discount? Seems like some times a GPU is eligible for a discount, and sometimes it is not (not in this case)

Well no sale yet:) I keep sticking things in my cart while I wait to see if the GPU I'm after ever comes back in stock! Interestingly enough when I added a second GPU, and removed the first GPU - his referral code stopped working ($0 discount), I then removed and added his code and the discount showed up again. I think my shopping for price quote technique that is confusing the system, but at least I've figured out how to fix it when needed!

Also, I was listening in on EVGAJacob on Friday's livestream who stated that there will be more stock in the 2nd half of august (iirc) or in the coming days/week so keep an eye out. SUPER stock should turn to normal levels in the coming weeks basically, unless of course the demand is still sky high like it was during it's launch.

So long as there is NO competitor for the RTX 2080ti there won't be a super card.
