OK so i downloaded and did a custom install checking the "clean install" option of the Nvidia Drivers.

Artifacting is still there with the 390.65 drivers after the EVGA screen.

BUT No more black screen after the artifacts when doing a simple windows restart.

I went ahead and did a shutdown and startup from cold. THEN I got the black screen. Holding down the power button to force a restart and going back in allowed me to get into windows. I did that twice.

As messed up as this sounds the new drivers are so much better for Destiny 2, i might just live with the fact its a PITA to get to windows.

Anyone hear anything from EVGA?

I just installed 390.65 and I still have the boot-screen corruption issue.
(I wonder if it's too early in the boot process to even involve the Nvidia drivers.)

I just wanna say that the newest BIOS version 1.05 removed the post-splash screen artifact and is working with the newest Nvidia Driver (as of this post is 390.77). I am also on Windows 10 version 1709 (Fall Creator Update), updated with the latest Windows updates. Looks like everything is good.
