Man, just seeing PICTURES of these bad boys makes me wonder of all the wonderous things I can do with 2 of them, in SLI mode. Now, does anyone have any tried and proven reasons (tested on your significant other) that will allow me to be able to convince, beyond a reasonable doubt (just incase court proceedings are involved in the divorce) my fiancee' that I NEED, not want, but NEED 2 of these in my life. Taking all suggestions!

is it confirmed they can do NVLINK? I thought that was restricted to 90 now.

sorry,, SLI is all but dead for gaming purposes ,etc... Everyone pretty much just stopped even trying to optimize for it/ code it anymore... Unfortunately.

Oh man, I had to 8mb Voodoo 2's. Took 3 hours to convince my mom to let me have the credit card to go to Babbage's in the mall and get them. Oh my god, I just realized I'm old! Thanks Damadama.....I really appreciate that

This is my dream card.. I was lucky enough to score a 3070 on launch day and it is amazing bang for the buck, but this 3080ti looks to be an absolute beast

@DBD77 Same here, I grabbed an MSI RTX 3070 Ventus 3x OC, but I'm really wanting this card. I am assuming, completely assuming and guessing, but prices I heard were around $999 to $1149 MSRP. And I'm sure that's just rumors, nothing from a credible source, just other gamers that heard here and there.

I haven't run SLI in years, but even ~5 years ago it was kind of a dead technology. I remember running Deus Ex Mankind Divided and having it run worse in SLI than just with a single card.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there literally isn't SLI onboard the 3000-series any longer. Anecdotal—might be wrong, but I swear I recall reading that. Someone please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I want to say that they switched to NVLink instead which is a different system. Who knows tho.

I think sli was used by such a select few that the industry killed it. Good riddance imo, cards are so amazing now anyway
