Hopefully that is the reason for these repeated delays. Or it could be miner blocks.

Now that we've got some news about the announcement & release dates being pushed back, I am PRAYING they have enough stock this time to cover pre-orders. I am still confident there won't be but PLEASE Nvidia PLEASE have more.
oh and for the love of god please have anti-bot measures in place for all those scalpers.

My local best buy has gigabyte cards in stock behind a caged fence. Tried to get some pictures but employees ran me off because i was behind counter... I was told prices range from 1100 to 1500 all gigabyte brands. Will try to get pictures later.. Seems like retailers are getting stock in early before launch... This could be a good thing.

As of June, all the cards will have the mining inhibitor on them. 3060ti, 3070, 3080, 3080ti. They are leaving the 3090 alone, as it hasn't been that appealing to miners due to the cost.

That means anyone that has a 3080 right now will be able to fetch a good price for is on the used market if they manage to get a 3080ti. If I can get a 3080ti I will have no problem trying to unload my 3080 to the highest bidder to cover the cost of the ti.

Any idea if the hashrate nerfing is going to affect other GPU-specific tasks like rendering in Redshift, lightmass generation in UE4, or pyro solvers in Houdini? Or is that extremely limited to the eth hash routine?

So far nothing has been confirmed... Evga said nothing about including the 3080ti on the elite member early checkout program... It's all just speculation.
