EVGA RTX 3060 XC Gaming Delivery Lost Package via UPS

As the title states, the package was marked delivered last August 7 at around 5pm, but the package was nowhere to be found near my front door or anywhere near my apartment.

Reading through the different experiences of lost packages from EVGA, I was expecting that the package might have just been delayed of some sort.

Tried filing a claim to UPS about a lost package, but reading that it may take up to 8-10 days if it does get entertained does not bode me well with my problem.

Tried contacting EVGA Support and they will need at least a police report to start filing a claim to UPS themselves.

Any other methods I might have missed in trying to at least get some updates as to where my package might be?

    I'm really sorry to hear that and I hope they do manage to find it.
    When calling UPS always insist on them raising a case and getting a case ID. Be polite yet firm.

    EVGA has to initiate the claim as the shipper.  You will need to notify and get a police report.
     
    Information for you can be found here:  https://www.evga.com/legal/store/ and the relevant points are:
     

    "Rejected, Lost, or Undeliverable Orders

    If tracking information shows that an order is marked as “Delivered”, but the customer has not received the package, EVGA suggests that the customer allow up to two additional business days for the product to be delivered before opening a claim.
    • If a claim must be opened on an order where tracking information shows that the package is 'Delivered', EVGA may require that the customer file a police report about the missing package and provide all relevant information related to the police report to EVGA before proceeding with the claim."

    Thanks for the inputs! I will look into getting a police report for it.

    Is it safe to wait for the card to be delivered later this day, which is 2 days after the marked date for delivery on August 9?

    That is up to you.  If it was me, I would give it a day or two.  However in my area, I've had stuff delivered up to a week late.  UPS is sometimes slow on updating their tracking also.
     
    I assume you have made EVGA aware of the situation and if you did it by phone, follow up with an email.
     
    Hope the GPU is delivered for you today.

    If it has been marked as delivered, I wouldn't wait any longer, they scan the packages as they are walking up to the door around here.

    Agreed! DO NOT wait in this case. File the police report and contact EVGA to start the investigation on the UPS side of things.
    The box they shipped my replacement GPU in was clearly marked with EVGA branding, so it is possible the driver got a little too excited :/

    If anything, it was probably delivered to the wrong address.  UPS pays their delivery personnel quite well and with a good benefits package, I seriously doubt that they would risk being unemployed and unemployable for a GPU.  No, I don't work for UPS.

    Update: GPU still did not arrive today.

    Is it possible for the package to be held by UPS after it is marked delivered?

    From my experience over the years no - if they mark it as delivered and bring it back to the depot it will get another scan at the depot which would remove the Delivered status.

    Update: A UPS guy came to my apartment and said that he was the "usual guy" that was supposed to deliver the card that day but said that it was his dayoff. He then just asked me to sign stating that I did not receive the package and then left. No GPU for me I guess 

    After UPS made me sign that I did not receive the package, does this mean that they will take care with EVGA of the possible replacement?

    Since UPS acknowledges that it wasn't delivered, it will be between EVGA, the shipper, and UPS to sort out and this can take a week or so.  Just stay in touch with EVGA and they will take care of the problem.

    I just contacted EVGA that UPS acknowledged that I did not receive the package. Hoping they can respond with something I can hope on this time.

    Sucks to be on the receiving end of this matter but it is what it is. Hoping for a replacement though.

    Will keep updating the post on how things will go from here.

    Update: UPS has now approved my claim as a receiver and has sent their claim towards the sender as per the UPS mobile app. I dont know how this is going to work but I will be keeping in touch.

    Tried to inform EVGA Support about this but they just keep saying to send a police report as my claim will not pay out unless it is sent directly to the shipper.

    Please keep in mind we do not handle high value lost packages through UPS themselves but rather our insurance which is UPS but not a normal UPS claim.

    So I still need to file a police report for you to start processing things at your end?

    What about the claim filed by UPS? Is there any real merit to that being filed?

    I have registered the item to your account. If a previous representative explained you need to file a report then yes according to our terms and conditions because we include these documents when filing it with our insurance. I will send you over a email so that when you have that report we can start the claim for you. As mentioned with high value items these are not processed through the typical UPS filing claim.

    No problem. I sent you a direct email so once I get that ill make sure to get it processed. Since UPS accepted liability on their ends through their CS channel this may move the claim quicker but hard to tell to be honest. These claims can take up to 8-10 business days. Look forward to getting this resolved for you :)

    Update: Just got the police report and sent it to EVGA for their approval. Hoping this will bring new light to my lost GPU.

    Update: EVGA emailed me that the claim was paid out and I was notified to either have the refund or to have the reshipment of another card.
    Asked for the reshipment but not to be delivered directly to my address and instead be dropped off in the nearest UPS hub. Looking forward for the shipment and eventually getting the card.

    Update: The package got delivered in my apartment! I am still wondering how it got delivered since the one I arranged was it to be picked up at some location other than my address. Anyway, good to have a card in hand that took almost a month since my notification period.
