I guess their power supply group and misc items is keeping the lights on.
just because the queue is moving very slowly doesnt mean they arent selling them. Every AIB's primary customers are retailers. Those of us in the queue are buying in small quantities(typically just 1 unit and 1 sku) and providing pretty insignificant sums of money in comparison to what a retailer is offering. To compound this, just because a card is their flagship, doesnt mean thats the card thats making them the most money. There is far greater demand in the mid tier range than enthusiast tier. I would also say that just because the 3897 shows a date of 10/06/2020 does not in any way mean they havent notified anyone since then. The queue is moving very slowly and I know for a fact that in the past few weeks there have been people notified to buy a 3897 gpu. the date merely indicates thats the most recent queue date position that has been notified.

well if you look at enewt's post, the queue moved by 37 minutes. like I said, the queue moves very slowly and there are a lot of people in the queue. Nobody truly knows the actual queue list so enewt's queue progression list is based off people posting their date/time of their notify when they get called. Konfl1kt

dont think so, i started off explaining why it was moving slowly then transitioned to explaining why enewt's queue progression shows 10/6/2020 for the 3897-kl sku as it does not mean 10/6/2020 was the last day when a notify went out. But rather that was the last time/date of some member had entered the queue and was notified that they can buy the gpu recently. Considering that sku moved 37 minutes yesterday, someone that entered the queue on 10/06/2020 13:55:13 was the last person notified that could buy the gpu as of yesterday.

Perhaps I could have been clearer in the header to the summary table, but the timestamps are the last reported timestamps to receive an invite to purchase email (i.e., the date that the reported successful queue-sitter originally clicked on the "auto-notify" button; it is not the date they reported receiving the invite to purchase email). Again, those are the last reported timestamps (i.e., date the person clicked the auto-notify button to be entered into the queue) of successful queue-sitters...the 3881, for example received "invite to purchase" emails within the last 30 days...but those emails were sent to folks who clicked the auto-notify button for the 3881 back in September of 2020. And as to your question...the 3080 Gaming Blacks and Gaming models have never received a lot of drops. The Ultras have done better overall.

that card has moved, just only up to that point lately. The card moved 38 minutes, 57 minutes, and one day it moved like over three days. its moving, just slow.

One year ago tonight, I was congratulating myself on securing a "ROG TUF" 3080 preorder from Amazon.com and avoiding the rush. It was quietly cancelled by Amazon two days later.
